marcus williams?!
WTF??? Williams???
marcus williams?!
I wonder if this kid is even going to make the team....maybe the spurs trade him?
didnt marcus williams have quote unquote discipline probs at AU?
So is this dude Bowen's replacement?
lmao. this is just sad now.
So what PGs will be availible with the 58th pick......
trade fodder or a D leaguer....
Thanks for confirming the info for me. Did the Spurs want to get Rudy? I kept hearing about how they were supposedly interested in him...
Maybe they are planning on going into next season with the same exact roster.
This smells like Bill Curley to me. They had to make this pick for someone else. Watch what someone like Portland does.
I bet they package 33 and maybe beno or someone already owned by the spurs
I don't see how Williams fits in with the Spurs. He doesn't have good range, is weak, can't rebound, and questionable on D. I hope this was a pick for a trade, but who knows...
I thought Byars for sure.
Portland gets Kopponen Philly gets cash & the #42. Portland is making some nice moves.
exactly......![]()
Yeah, there's just no way. The more I see about him the more I'd have been inclined to label him the an hesis of what the Spurs need.
I'm scared of portland now. That team is gonna be sickkkkkkkkkkkkkk.
damn seems like we kept the wrong GM when Portland and Seattle came calling....
I'm telling you, Portland is going to be in good in a year.
What's with the freefall of all these guards, anyway?
From Chad Ford, who coincidently had him ranked 33 on his top 100:
Gifted small forward who excels in the midrange. If he buys into the Spurs' system and learns how to play defense, he could be a steal at this point in the draft.
Making lots of moves doesn't always equal nice. But if you're portland any change is an improvment.
It was a neck-n-neck race to see which former Spur-executive would do a better job. But Pritchard has remade that team over the last year.
It'll take longer than that, they are so young. But they do have a good outlook, if everybody pans out they could be PO good in 1 to 2 years and contend in 4 or so.
edit - that's if everything pans out and best case scenario occurs.
People are getting pissy because we didnt draft a "superstar" and because he havent made any trades. I'm pretty sure we just won a le with the same roster we have now.
