I hope he'll be back soon
What about Dixon getting no playing time last night?
Surprised to see Rasho hurt, one of his big positives is that he is very durable for a heavy center.
Rasho didn't practice today. Officially, he is listed as day-to-day but I really doubt he can play tomorrow.
it seems when bosh struggles so does bargnani 6-23 combined vs the jazz
http://www.torontosun.com/Sports/Bas...60016-sun.htmlThe big question heading into tonight's game is the health of starting centre Rasho Nesterovic who sprained his ankle Wednesday night when he landed on top of Mehmet Okur's foot.
Nesterovic was held out of practice yesterday but was able to get some conditioning work done on the bike. Mitc said he would wait until this morning's shootaround to make a decision on Nesterovic. If he can't go, the obvious replacement is Andrea Bargnani who started the first five games of the season at centre. His other option would be Kris Humphries who is coming off a strong 14-board game Wednesday night.
Toronto Raptors: Where Amazing Happens
This guy did a nice job:

Guess Sam wants Andrea to get used to coming off the bench:
http://blog.rogersradiointernet.com/...maceo-or-hump/11:35am - Quick update for ya folks. Sam Mitc says he has yet to decide who he will start tonight in place of Rasho Nesterovic … but … he has narrowed his choices down to two players: Maceo Baston or Kris Humphries.
Nesterovic is sidelined - day to day - with a sprained right ankle. He did not take part in yesterday’s practice or today’s shoot-around.
And Hump to stay used to doing so...
According to Fan 590, Baston will start in place of Rasho tonight.
Also:
http://thestar.blogs.com/raptors/As illogical at it may seem, the logical move for the Raptors to make tonight is to start Maceo Baston in place of centre Rasho Nesterovic.
And coach Sam Mitc hinted this morning that’s just what he’s going to do.
With Nesterovic out because of a sprained ankle, the least disruptive move to the greatest number of players would be to start Baston, who has yet to play a minute this season. That would allow both Andrea Bargnani and Kris Humphries to maintain the roles they are used to, coming off the bench in the first quarter of games.
And Baston, who spent last season with the Indiana team Toronto faces tonight, could probably give the Raptors almost the same production Nesterovic did in the 12 or 14 minutes he plays most games.
Mitc , aside from ruling Nesterovic out, wouldn’t announce his next move.
“We’re going to wait,” he said.

Ugly start but a win. Nice to see Garbo in the game; another awful night for Bargnani.
Forderon with 17 assists and 30 points.
Why didn't Sho play?
He's not hurt is he?
Yes he is
He is on day-to-day status, see page 9
Oh poor Sho! Feel better!
I will pray for him.
Ouch!
The announcer was right though- Sho is a tough dude.![]()
o, any real Raptor fans in here able to answer my question?
Dixon's minutes have been impacted by the unexpected move of Moon into the starting line-up. It means that both Kapono and Delfino are coming off the bench ahead of Dixon now. Hope that helps.
You must have really been sick to miss this!!
I was sick and super out of it.
Funny thing is that I had been thinking about Sho this week.
Next time that happens, I will know to be sure and check the thread.
Raptors starting centre Rasho Nesterovic had an MRI done on his sprained right ankle on Friday and is expected back within a week, although he surprised Mitc by jogging up and down the side of the court after practice yesterday.
A couple of journalists made a crack that the lumbering Nesterovic actually was running at full speed.
"Almost," said Mitc , with a laugh. "That's about 80%."

On a personal note, as if anyone cares, I am so disappointed because I have been waiting for months and months for a chance to watch Rasho play in person again and I was so excited that he was even starting and playing so well- but he should still be out on Tuesday in Dallas.![]()
The official announcement:
The Toronto Raptors announced Sunday that following further evaluation and testing by team medical personnel, centre Rasho Nestervoic is expected to be sidelined for one to two weeks with a Grade 2 sprain of his right ankle.
Nesterovic sustained the injury at the six minute mark of the third quarter of Wednesday’s game versus Utah. He will not join the team on its upcoming road trip to Dallas (Tuesday) and Memphis (Wednesday).

Oh no! That's no good! Sorry Ploto!![]()
Thanks-- it was going to be hectic because I can't leave SA until noon on Tuesday and I have to be back before noon on Wednesday, but the trip would have been worth it.![]()
Another loss, colapse in 4Q
What is Mitc thinking, Andera had decent game and was benched in 4Q?
We lost to the Warriors! Ugh.
Bad night indeed.
