What the you talking about? If the Mavs can't beat us with our defensive anchor and best perimeter defender out you have NO CHANCE when we are fully healthy.
What is up with Josh Howard lately? I'm not even talking about his shooting, but the fact that he is completely a no show on the boards as well.
Is he just in a funk or is he trying to do too much?

Kobe's just playing the game he's supposed to play. No surprised here. Lebron is the real MVP. Btw Dallas looks tired. The schedule has been too hectic. Stackhouse needs to go to an old mans home. Uhh
HAHAHA defensive anchor and a 22 yo mediocre player? Dirk, Josh and Stack all playing like ...![]()
I know its not said enough but, god bless HD television.
Heh...I feel ya, bro...we had the same problem with Parker last night...that can drive you up a wall...![]()
Crackhouse
1-9 fg 0 rebounds 0 assists
What exactly has he contributed thus far?![]()
Bynum doesn't sound optimistic on when hes coming back, so I think everyones getting y about that
Bass tearing the Lakers a new hole and Avery plays him seven minutes? Sorry Avery but as a coach you suck.
haha no way TD in fisher's top 5
nice![]()
I don't know. I was cutting him some slack because his back isn't 100% yet, but I'm getting annoyed now.
Hey, Fisher put Tim in his all time fave 5!
Too bad the bas had to make a .4 shot and make Tim's previous shot look useless![]()
Did you see the ing stat sheet they put up on ABC you dumb ?
Bynum
10 rpg
13.1 ppg
2.1 bpg
64 % FG (highest in the NBA)
That's not ing mediocre from a player who doesn't even play more than 30 minutes a game. He's a HUGE piece of the puzzle for us, and we quite frankly are not making it out of the west without him.
Bynum is behind schedule but I'm still guessing he'll be back for the tough 4 game road trip in mid-march....that would be great. If not then he'll be back by the first week of April.
Jeff exactly how many players do you think the Lakers are going to play in the playoff? I think so far you're talking about all 15 are going to be impact players
You're wasting your time, it's useless to argue with some of these people.
The thing with the Lakers' depth is the right combination of skillsets in their young players:
Ariza is a good man defender, but a poor jumpshooter
Walton is a good passer, but can't guard a chair, can't shoot
Vujacic is a good shooter, but can't defend without fouling
Fisher is a good scoring guard, but can't defend quicker guards
Farmar is probably the most well-rounded of their bench players
And apart from Fisher (and to a certain extent Walton), these guys haven't been tested in close playoff games against well-oiled defenses.
Compare this to the Spur role players: Bowen or Udoka who have a 3 point shot to go along with their D, Finley who is a good shooter and rebounder, or Barry who is a great shooter and passer. Not to mention they've been there and done it in playoff games.
The Lakers don't really have a dominant team defense which they can rely on if they dont get easy points on the other end. How they answer that question will determine how well they do in the playoffs.
You are not making it out the West with or without him...![]()
Bynum said recently that there haven't been any setbacks in his rehab. If that holds up, he should be back late March. Hopefully.
Im just curious when Bynum became a damn all star....
Nothing. I wasn't defending the guy. Ah, nevermind.
Bynum said his knee is still swelling so it's not like everything is peachy keen.
Finley = poor defensive player
Bowen+Udoka = no offense
If they were the players you think they are the Spurs wouldn't struggle to score every night outside of their big 3.
Who said he was an all-star?
He's only our best rebounder.
It just means he won't be back in 8 weeks, more likely 10 weeks which is what we all thought would happen in the 1st place.
