I Blame Pop.
No Rebounds, No Interior Defense.... No Marks, No Center, No Massenburg.
Nice
Of course you do.
Massenburg, and Marks are not gonna give interior defense genius.
Just because you bust your ass doesn't mean you're en led to make stupid ass plays like the one he did make.

malik usually sucks in crunch time.....it is a fact!
Well, the Spurs end another team's streak.
Congrats.
nope.Just because you bust your ass doesn't mean you're en led to make stupid ass plays like the one he did make
Didnt say it did.
But it isnt Malik's fault the TEAM lost this game.
Devin dribbles like he has all day, passes to Tim for 3 off back of rim. reb. Portland,
Ballgame.
That's it. Bad effort from start to finish by the Spurs. The mismatch and lack of a good solution by Pop for Miles just made things worse. Damon was lights out and Joe P. played the game of his life with Rasho out and Mass and Malik no match for him in height or length.
The whole Spurs team is turning into Tony Parker. Ya have an excellent game and follow it up with the crappy game.
Was Marks Hurt?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????
Close all roads to the bridges and remove the shower rods.
tp has been carring this team
Christ Tpark, you're displaying the problem a lot of us have with you on this thread. You go Ghostal over anything negative.
No one blamed the loss on Rose tonight, just said he made a stupid, idiotic pass late, and you come on here posting like someone kicked your damn dog.
not to forget.....pheonix is right up our ass for the top spot.........
yeah! beating the spurs is like winning the NBA le!![]()
not to forget.....pheonix is right up our ass for the top spot.........and if its any consolation....looks like dallas will loose to clips as well
It's pretty hard to stop a team that's out-shooting you by 12 percentage points 56% to 44%.
Spurs -4 RBs, as usual in losses.
why didn't Tony M play more for RBs? a little inside scoring? weird.
Tim missed FTs in the crunch, and forced up a really bad shot in crunch.
The Blazers really wanted this game and they had great effort, great spacing, great movement without the ball, great execution, and great shooting.
The Spurs as a group had poor effort, poor anticipation of cutters and they were a step or two late almost every trip. Malik brought effort, but little else.
There was a major size problem at the 3 frontcourt spots. Patterson was an animal on the ball and on the glass.
True, but over the course of the whole game the Spurs were good from the line. 23-28. They were perfect the first 3 quarters. When you miss FTs and wither in the 4th in the 2nd game of a back to back, you know it's the legs, whether they make millions and are professionals...or not.'
The Blazers just out-efforted and out-executed the Spurs ALL GAME.
They heard Lenny Wilkens was taking over if they lost another game.
I was right on this one, this team is so MEAN the spurs cannot underestimate them...
that was a good game. glad we lost to blazers not to sac, lakers, minny..![]()
We lost this game in the beginning when they utilized Duncan's inability to guard a screen and role. They got some easy baskets early in the first that set the tempo of the game.
who are we going to trade this time?![]()
Spurs did come back and took the lead at the half and were outrebounding the Blazers.
The Spurs couldn't match them in any phase in the 2nd half. Outrebounded, outscored, overmatched in the frontcourt. Miles was murder on both ends and he even took out Horry's knee on a steal attempt.
Well, there was some good news out of the West. The Clipps beat the Mavericks.
I noted that Tony looked quite bouncy and energetic, really probing the defense, trying to and often succeeding in driving, had a good game face on, esp compared to the PHX and SAC games.
What's really worrying again, is that the Spurs aren't doing well on the boards, vs earlier in the season. Tim gets his usually, but everybody else seems to be slacking off.
