Damn this was an AMAZING game to be at! This might have been my favorite Spurs game I've watched live. Better than the '07 finals (blowouts), games 1, 2, and 6 of the '05 finals (blowout, blowout, painful loss...ran out of money by game 7). Man, the atmosphere was intense! The crowd, me included, got really tense and quiet when we got down in the 3rd/4th, but after we clawed back, and Tony got the and 1 to put us back on top, the place went crazy! Like one of those big ol' San Antonio women on their cheat day (to use Chuck's joke). Anyways, I figure I'll post some pics. They're pretty crappy, and I was too into the game to take any pics except for dead ball situations. Really though, it was an amazing game to be at.
real tough loss to take...up 9 going in the 4th you simply have to put it away and we didn't.
westbrook was bad in the 4th. Just hope we bounce back as we need game 2 now but it's clear to me these two teams are pretty evenly matched.

If he's smart, I think Westbrook will try more 10 foot floaters/stop and pops, and dribble drive-kick outs next game.
I hope he's not that smart.
He drives way too hard and he's easy prey for charges from teams who know smart defensive positioning.
Damn, those are some excellent shots. A lot of people quit looking at the game thread after the game is over. Shame they will miss them.
Good game guys. Looked as though there was a bit of a learning curve early on with OKC disrupting passing lanes etc with their length an speed that SA has not seen (lately). Very nice effort through 3. I thought we were excellent at preventing what was a concern- contesting perimeter shots. Then the Schitt hit the fan and Parker and the gang began picking us apart. No Ibaka in the 4th with a hesitant Perk with 5 fouls was a bit of a questionable decision to me, but whatever. Harden was a bit lame in this one.
Parker's court vision is just absurd sometimes. He's midair on the left side of the rim an feeing guys for right corner 3's.

Yeah I was really impressed with OKC's pick and roll defense to start the game, but on re-watching, the screens were horrid. It's like the Spurs finally went "Oh, game speed not practice speed" and turned it up.
I still don't understand no Ibaka, but I'm a defense first guy. I don't think it would have made any difference.

Manu really stepped it up this game in a very important game, people were doubting him and hes been in a slump but it is Manu Ginobili, I just have so much faith in him to come through when we need him.
Capt Jack came through!, that three was huge! and sealed the game, people may not notice but he brings so much to this team. I cant really remember exactly when it was but in the 4th quarter Brooks called a timeout and Stephen was going crazy, I loved it
I asked Kevin Durant for a dollar and he only gave me 3 quarters.
