so what else did they include, because that trade clearly doesn't work salary wise
I would say that is better than the Spurs' offer, yes or no? Yes, they might not want Jalen Green, but would that 10th pick outweigh the 14th pick?
so what else did they include, because that trade clearly doesn't work salary wise
We're passed 100 pages, when does the trade happen?
Rockets aren't including even Sheppard?
As for the #14, a hypothetical question since there are many 3-D prospects in that range.
Would you rather have 3 years of KD or 10 years of Danny Green, development time included?
that tweet is clear BS, cause there's no scenario where that works. Not even if the Rockets add Landale, Withmore, Aaron Holiday and Nate Williams to the package and also not if they do Jalen Green + Dillon Brooks.
Jalen Green being included doesn't make sense if the trade is going to happen before the draft.
Suns aren't taking back 50 million that become 70 million when extensions kick in.
“The hardest investment”
the trade doesn't even work. I know they don't want Green anyway, but if the Rockets don't add any of the mentioned players who are off the table, the trade can't happen period.
Kinda feel like it is a last-minute haggling process with the Rockets before Ishbia caves in to Brian Wright who sprinkles a couple of SRPs on the offer to let him save face..
Imagine if the offer is something like Keldon, Barnes, Wesley, Branham and a bunch of SRPs.![]()
Guys guys, any trade is going to abide the rules and salaries for 2025/26, even if it is announced now or during the draft. It'll be officially completed after July 1st.
Houston can create a package around Green and Landale, probably adding another contract, as long as they're not a 1st apron team. Which is very achievable for them in multiple ways.
They will draft him at two.
They aren't caving in for the Spurs trash.
Maluach? If the Spurs wanted him that badly, they'd trade the number 2 pick with Philadelphia or another team and gain more assets, then draft him with that lower pick. I can almost guarantee you they WILL NOT draft him at number 2.
Also, IMO, they will not choose him over Dylan Harper. That's crazy talk.
We got Fox for cheaper than anyone expected and got rid of Collins in the process.
Brian Wright shall not be denied!
Durant is going to be pissed the Spurs didn't include any draft picks trying to get him, he'll drop 100 as the Rockets sweep the Spurs in the first round en route to their third NBA championship.
Yeah I was joking of course. Jim Jones level mass suicide on here if they do.
Well, you got me. I thought you were half serious. lol.
It's most definitely a lowball offer armed by the intel of KD wanting the Spurs.. My rough guess is Brian Wright telling him I'm only including one of 14/Vassell/Sochan and that's the current sticking point.
I'm genuinely not bothered losing Vassell. I'm in fact encouraging it. We desperately need to free up usage for Castle/Harper.
its going to come down to whether Miami is willing to include Ware or not. their FRP this year is all the way at 20, compared to 9 for TOR, 10 for HOU, and 14 for SAS
jacquez/jovic arent going to move the needle. if miami includes ware, i think they get KD, and on the court i think the fit there is quite good. are they contenders? in a weakened east with Tatum out, Milwaukee possibly dormant for a year, who knows. i think its worth it for them to take a shot rather than just being a purgatory team.
i like ware, but he's not some untreadeable asset
I think that is the offer. Seems like they are not including #14 at all.
I applied 25/26 salaries my friend. It doesn't work. You can try for yourself

You might be right. Call me crazy, but it might drag on until the lottery and the Spurs selection if they have a player they really want with that pick. Otherwise they just trigger the KD trade.
Yeah, he's had 5 years to prove his worth, it's time to let him go.I'm genuinely not bothered losing Vassell. I'm in fact encouraging it. We desperately need to free up usage for Castle/Harper.
He might do better elsewhere, but he's not a good fit for the Spurs anymore and more importantly always seems to be dealing with some kind of injury issues.
He missed 72 games over the past 3 years.
If we keep him and he doesn't make a big leap, he'd be a negative asset next summer and we'd have to pay to get rid of him.
It doesn’t work on the trade machine because it treats Houston as a 1st apron team. It has all contracts in the calculation, e.g. FVV at 44mil.Trade machines just can’t be as flexible. Houston, on the other hand, can be flexible and not be above the 1st apron.
yeah you're right. I didn't realize they still had those old cap holds factored in. Jalen Green, Landale and Aaron Holiday works in that case. Still a bad package though.
