Only thing that would trigger a war right now is an attack by either side causing in casualties.

Ukraine has been lost to Russia forever decades ago.

Putin can easily cross over the border and take 1/2 of Ukraine tho as only Russians inhabit eastern ukraine. There is no urgency at all to invade tbqh.

As long as germany and france are at the negotiating table Putin has all the time in the world.

Theres absolutely nothing anyone can do about it. The 30 million Ukranians will.certainly and moan but very very few of them would enlist to go East and try to recover their land

But again even this is an unlikely scenario IMO. Only way this would happen is if German and France stop the negotiations. Then Russia will easily take over the East Ukraine with very little opposition.

Those Ukranians will defend Western Ukraine (their homeland) fiercely no doubt.


They will not defend Eastern Ukraine as fiercely as theres no ukranians living there (mostly russians)

Aint no invasion gonna happen. Ukraine is currently a failed state and about to default on their loans. Poorest country in Europe. Why would anyone want to take over and support this hole?

Here are the realistic scenarion:
1) nothing happens and the propaganda war from both sides goes on to next year
2) ukraine attacks Donbas. Russia is forced to defend their 3 million civilians via air and missile campaigns. Ukraine army gets obliterated
3) a limited s ikg/missile battle between both sides breaks out.
4) germany, italy and france further serious security discussions w Russia. NATO and US further isolated.

Regardless there will be no russian boots on ukranian soil. All this invasion talk is propaganda for internal US consumption.

I predict if Russia decides to invade the Ukrainian air force will be destroyed on the ground. Those pilots aren't stupid enough to commit suicide. The army will collapse just like in Afghanistan. Putin will win an almost bloodless victory.
