I just like cheesy bowling accoutrements -- bowling balls, bowling pins, bowling shoes, vintage bowling shirts, etc. Must be more of the retro nerdy chick in me.

And I don't have a specific favorite color, but I like all the swirly ones. And would KILL for a clear one like Bill Murray's in Kingpin.

I almost bought that.

I do not. Most of my collection was acquired when I worked at the Goodwill several years ago. You'd be surprised the number of purchases that start to look like a good deal when you've got an employee discount at a thrift store.

The most recent ball that tempted me was the awesomely tacky Elvis balls they have for sale at Graceland.

The coffee I had with the four shots of espresso will make that difficult.

But, I'm not terribly concerned about it. I've been just going back to it and adding a few lines here and there, but figure I'll probably lounge about, do some reading, watch the movies that I've got to return soon and then get started in earnest at about 10:00 PM or so.

I'm a much better writer when I'm pressed for time, anyway.

But, I'm taking a writing class to try to get over my hatred, and the assignment is a short descriptive personal narrative detailing a particular event in my life.
