So, you'd have a problem if DJT did it?
If he sent a member of the RNC to solicit dirt in another country from their government, yes.

Would you have a problem if Donald Trump hired a foreign national to go to China and solicit dirt on Biden from Chinese nationals?

Trump Misleads on ‘Rebuffed’ Russian Offers

the president’s claim that the special counsel’s report said his campaign “rebuffed” Russian offers of assistance. The report said the campaign was “receptive” to some offers, and in other instances “shied away.”

“’no collusion and no obstruction and no nothing. And, in fact, it said we actually rebuffed your friends from Russia; that we actually pushed them back — we rebuffed them.”

The report didn’t address “collusion,” which isn’t a crime, but it didn’t find the campaign had “coordinated or conspired with the Russian government in its election-interference activities.”

the special counsel investigation found mixed results on whether the Trump campaign “rebuffed” Russian offers.

It found “multiple links” between campaign officials and people associated with the Russian government.

“Those links included Russian offers of assistance to the Campaign.

In some instances, the Campaign was receptive to the offer,

while in other instances the Campaign officials shied away.”

don't worry, hairplug biden and his son are going to go down soon enough for their nefarious chinese connections. oh poor biden, you shouldn't had demanded such nonsense as firing internal chinese gov't officials on part of your son in order for your son to acquire billions from the communist s in the east.

In its most detailed account yet, the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington says a Democratic National Committee (DNC) insider during the 2016 election solicited dirt on Donald Trump’s campaign chairman and even tried to enlist the country's president to help.

In written answers to questions, Ambassador Valeriy Chaly's office says DNC contractor Alexandra Chalupa sought information from the Ukrainian government on Paul Manafort’s dealings inside the country in hopes of forcing the issue before Congress.

Chalupa later tried to arrange for Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to comment on Manafort’s Russian ties on a U.S. visit during the 2016 campaign, the ambassador said.

Chaly says that, at the time of the contacts in 2016, the embassy knew Chalupa primarily as a Ukrainian American activist and learned only later of her ties to the DNC. He says the embassy considered her requests an inappropriate solicitation of interference in the U.S. election.

people are having to google chalupa now that you brought her up because they aren't so in the loop as they want us all to perceive them as. lol

McGahn Ally Rejects Trump’s Attacks: Anyone Who Buys It Either ‘Stupid or Believes in the Tooth Fairy’

“President Trump denied saying [Mueller] to go.

But you can see the way he keeps talking,

he’ll sort of say half a sentence and

start going on about Mueller’s conflicts.

He’s not even fully denying those conversations with McGahn.

    It’s pretty messy,”

Trump totally twists his pro-collusion comments in Fox & Friends rant

President Donald Trump is now saying “of course” he would report to the FBI attempts by foreign nations to give him negative information about the United States

“Of course you give it to the FBI or report it to the attorney general,” Trump told “Fox & Friends” Friday morning.

Trump told ABC News this week that
he would not report to the FBI attempts by foreign nations to give him “opposition research” against a political opponent to help him win re-election – which is illegal.

“I think you might want to listen, there isn’t anything wrong with listening,”

    “You don’t call the FBI.”

“First of all I don’t think anybody would present me with anything bad because

they know how much I love this country,” tax evasion expresses love of country

“Number two, if I was, and of course you have to look at it, if you don’t look at it you’re not going to know if it’s bad – how are you going to know if it’s bad?

“If I thought anything was incorrect or badly stated, I’d report it to the Attorney General, the FBI, I’d report it to law enforcement,”

That would be outside the normative bounds of electoral politics to be sure. Some would say so is sending your son to do something similar.

It remains to be seen if there's any legal consequences for such behavior. So far it would appear not.

    Sure.

Investigate everything, I have no problem with that, even if it happens to HRC too. Let the chips fall.

What's good for the goose is good for the gander and vice versa. Congressional oversight of DJT and LE investigations of HRC are both fine in my book.

Are you afraid of what investigations and oversight will do to DJT?

Does it bother you that seven Congressional probes and two announced FBI investigations of HRC have turned up nothing actionable so far? It should put you at ease about DJT, particularly if he is an innocent man.

Informal Trump legal advisor urges potential witnesses to ‘spit in the face’ of House committee chairs

Joseph DiGenova, a former federal prosecutor and Fox News commentator who

represented two witnesses in former special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe and

    gives Trump informal legal advice,

"They think people are gonna roll over and play dead for these morons?

They may accept just to have the opportunity to spit in the face of Elijah mings, Schiff and Nadler, and

I would recommend that they do it.”

Democrats consider busting Trump's executive privilege claims by calling White House outsiders

    House Democrats are
looking at Trump’s non-White House inner circle.

If someone didn’t work in the Trump administration, the thinking goes, he can’t assert executive privilege to keep them from talking.

These people could be called without any reasonable shred of a claim of executive privilege,”

“Where’s Paul Manafort? He’s in a prison somewhere. He’s readily available. Get him a suit. Get him a haircut. Have him testify,” a law professor suggested.

Underscoring just how scared Trump is of these investigations,

the White House seems to be getting ready to claim executive privilege over even outsiders,

telling the House Oversight Committee that

“The Executive Branch's confidentiality interests are not limited solely to communications directly involving the President and other Executive Branch officials.”

Former Trump lackey Felix Sater will get hit with subpoena after he skips out on congressional testimony

Adam Schiff’s (D-CA) office said that Sater did not show up for his scheduled testimony on Friday morning, despite agreeing to do so.

Sater is a Russian-born former mobster who for years worked with Trump on assorted real estate projects, including the Trump Soho hotel and Trump Tower Moscow.

Sater’s financial relationship with Trump dates back to at least 2003, when the Trump Organization rented out office space to Sater’s former company.

so-called AG Bill Barr killed 7 Robert Mueller investigations — 10 days after he submitted his report

CNN’s Katelyn Polantz had filed a request to unseal do ents related to the special counsel’s investigation and on Monday the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia agreed.

Chief Judge Beryl A Howell ordered the release of multiple do ents, including Attachment B, which listed information on applications for court orders requested by Mueller.

The 65-page do ent shows seven cases that were closed on April Fools Day — only ten days after Mueller submitted his report.
