Hahaha. I am still learning about wine, this is a recent interest of mine. I will always be a beer girl at heart, though. I got the Barefoot Cabernet Sauvignon at the suggestion of a friend of mine. I looked it up and its won lots of awards and is really cheap so hopefully it is good.
I know a bit about wine, but Jess knows all. I bought her a wine cellar for christmas last year and over the year she stocked it up so there is pretty much good wine on demand. I'd rather have some whiskey today though. I'm ing cold.
I just put on a sweater, a little chilly myself. I am tempted to turn the heat up just long enough to get the chill out. But my damn roommate's dog is in the kennel and it smells and I am afraid to turn the heat up for fear of making the stench worseI can't wait till he puts that thing outside with the other dog.
I am a red wine fan. One of the best right now is a South African Pinotage. Its smoother than a Pinot Nior and not as dry as a Cab. If you can find a good 03-05 for 20 bucks, I suggest getting it. It will be worth it. I have been tapping into my wine collection and only have 1 bottle left. Its actually a Mondavi reserve 02 Cab Sauvignon. I think its valued at 50 right now, but I lucked out and got it for 20 on accident. I've had it aging for a year and a half now.
