QB David Ash has supposedly been cleared to start against K-State tomorrow despite there still being rumors out there that his shoulder is giving him problems. We should know early on if he's hurting.

24/7 reporting that Larry Porter visited 2015 RB Soso Jamabo of Plano West today.
2015 S Justin Dunning picked up an offer from Florida State this week, according to 24/7.
Article confirming the rumors from months ago that regents from UT did have contact with Saban's agent in January:

Update on 2015 S Larry Pryor of Sulphur Springs who attended OU's game last weekend instead of Texas/Ole Miss (24/7):
“You know, them (Texas) losing games doesn’t really affect me like people would think,” said Pryor. “Like I said before, it doesn’t keep me from liking Texas. They’re facing some problems right now, but I’ll be watching closely to see how exactly they bounce back.”
“I mean anything can happen,” he said. “It’s still early I would say. I have a lot of faith in them to get the job done. The talent is there and they have great coaches. It’s all about making that work and getting going out on the field.”
“I kind of see them turning it around here pretty quickly,” Pryor said. “In my opinion, they just have to pick it up. They have to play a whole game hard. Every snap they need to be going all out.”
“Texas is still my favorite as of right now,” said Pryor. “It’s them, followed by TCU and then schools like Texas Tech and Arkansas. Oklahoma and LSU are in the mix, too. I visited Oklahoma recently and will visit LSU in a few weeks with (2015 five-star defensive tackle) Daylon (Mack)."
“I’ll also be getting down to Texas again soon,” he added. “I just don’t know when yet.”
Two disturbing stats to digest before the K-State game tomorrow:
-Texas has the third worst rushing defense in the FBS
-should Texas lose to K-State, that will be the first time they've started a season 1-3 since 1956
Quotes from an anonymous source after DE Solomon Thomas visited Texas for the Ole Miss game (24/7). He still plans on taking all official visits after the season, so a new coach may be UT's best chance here:
“The loss wasn’t really a big deal,” the source said. “He enjoyed spending some time with the coaches and especially the other commits. He understands that they’re still trying to figure out some things when it comes to the team, but the night was still a good one for him. He had a good time.”
“Texas is definitely still up there for him,” said the source. “They have a lot to offer, so I know he’ll continue to be high on them. He’s worried about more than just how each team performs this year. There’s a lot more to it than that.”
“Texas A&M isn’t in his favorites right now, but he’s noticed them a little bit lately,” the source said. “It’s possibly they could get in it in the future.”
This is true and he confirmed it to 24/7 earlier in the week. He was in attendance for A&M/Bama last Saturday.
RB Donald Catalon gives his view on Texas' struggles (24/7). Keep it in mind for later on in the year, but losing Applewhite may affect his recruitment even if he doesn't say it publicly:
“I’m not going anywhere,” said Catalon. “I’m not visiting Oklahoma State at all like I talked about before. I was going to go with Trey (Roberts) since he’s committed there, but decided against it."
“I’m solid to Texas,” he added. “That’s not changing. If I go anywhere, it will just be to watch them for a game.”
“That (losing) doesn’t affect anything,” Catalon said. “I’ll still be committed. They just have to come on with it. It’s going to take work to turn it around, but they can do it.”
“I feel like I can definitely contribute next year,” he said. “I think I can help out with the run game and on special teams to do my part. I’ll help do anything and carry the ball or take some returns back. Whatever they need, I can help.”
Update on 2015 QB Jarrett Stidham of Stephenville (24/7):
“I’ll be coming down there for the Kansas State game,” said Stidham. “I’m excited to head down there this weekend and talk with the coaches. I’m also excited to see the offense live and watch them get a win.”
“I think it’s just a matter of time until they get back to where they want to be,” he said. “I know they're making some changes, but I’m sure it will all work out.”
“They can get it done and I’ll be watching them to see just how they do the entire season,” Stidham said. “How each team like Texas performs for the rest of the year will be big in my recruitment. It will play a factor into it.”
“Recruiting has been going pretty good,” he said. “I’m getting a lot of mail and talking to some new coaches from new schools. Lately schools like Oregon, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Washington State, UCLA, TCU, Vanderbilt and other have been showing interest in me, too."
“I’m wide open though,” Stidham added. “Right now I have no favorites.”
Quick quote from 2015 WR DaMarkus Lodge of Cedar Hill (24/7):
“I’ll still be interested in Texas no matter how bad their season may get,” Lodge said.
Funny fake article from Barking Carnival making fun of Mack for already apologizing for an OU loss:

Is anyone seeing the posters on campus that are basically saying "Fire Mack Brown"?
I saw a picture of them earlier today and now I can't find a copy to show the board. It may have been a fake, but I was just wondering because I didn't see anything last weekend when I was in town for Ole Miss.
How are they not the worst
To add to that, Texas may get beat by a team that lost to an FCS school (North Dakota State).

I haven't seen anything though I also don't have any classes outside of the engineering area. I'm interested in helping whoever is putting them up if this is true.
FYI (if anyone cares) that College GameDay will have an interview with Mack tomorrow morning.
OrangeBloods saying WR Mike Davis is out for K-State after spraining his ankle against Ole Miss.
