Vince Young made it to the final, he beat out Illinois' Red Grange (with 70% of the votes), Michigan's Charles Woodson (with 52% of the votes) and Georgia's Herc Walker (with 51% of the votes) to get there. Barry Sanders is the other "finalist".

Believe we're already in Newsome's top 5. He set his 5 official visits and Texas is one of them, unsure what game though.

I don't know about probable but we have as good as shot as any other team.

Newsome is from Aledo as is our RB Johnathan Gray so Texas has a connection to him that little if no other schools can match. Not saying this is a deciding factor but may help more than some may imagine.
