Obstructed View is right that we are limited in bigs, so that's why Bonner is getting minutes..my point is just that Bonner SHOULDN'T be starting, because he isn't a good player..not saying there wasn't a reason..and to be honest, there hasn't been a good replacement, which is part of our problems so far..hopefully Ian is good enough..

Fab is obviously better though, so I wouldn't mind him starting..but then our bench would be even weaker..tough choice..

his defense doesn't bother me..it's the fact that he's so soft, he makes Oberto look like Karl Malone..he loses his confidence so easily after 1 miss or 1 bad play..a guy like that can't be starting..

You want a starting five of Parker, Mason, Bowen, Udoka and Duncan? You'd have preferred that against Shaq and Amare?

Also I can take Bonner starting against some teams too, but not Finley and Bonner at the same time.

I'm watching on broadband, which is fine so long as I only have one browser open.

Anyway, I few quick thoughts before I scadaddle back.

Fin shouldn't play. At all.

Neither should Bonner, which Pop seems to have realized.

The Spurs should start Parker, Mason, Udoka, Duncan and Oberto.

When Ginobili comes back, he, Bowen, Hill, and either Thomas or Mahinmi should give the Spurs enough of a bench.

Mahinmi is going to have to play well for the Spurs interior D to be where it needs to be.

Having said all that, I'm fairly encouraged despite the rough start to the season. Mason gives the Spurs a forth scorer. That alone is worth being excited about.
