It looks like Brezec is showing some signs of life.

Slovenia played in front of a much more hostile croud this time (in Poreč the split was 50/50 as far as fans go, here there was only about 30 slovenians out of 1500). Apperantly president of croatian basketball federation insulted Golemac (Golemac is a croatian born player) and they had a "verbal conflict". There was also an on court altercation (Boki got hit)

As I said it before, Croats are pathetic. At the moment they just don't have enough talent, so they are trying to achieve something with so called "tough play". In other words they play dirty. In the last few years they pumped up their nation with stories about their "greatness". Time has come for them to deliver. And they are not delivering at the moment. But enough about them.

Good news:
More signs of life from Brezec
D. Lorbek finally showed up
Rebounding looks good

Bad news:
After winning two back to back games against the arch-rivals there is no bad news

Head scratchers for Zdovc:
Every game one of his "sure things" to get cut comes out with a solid performance. D. Lorbek did it yesterday.
What about team chemistry? What will happen when missing guys return and some of the guys that are busting their asses of will get cut?
Does returning of injured players mean step back because Zdovc have to incorporate them in the offensive schemes?
Zdovc will have to make his decisions soon. I think Spanish tournament will determine last 12.

If you want a WIN on September 17th, you should be able to win in hostile territory on August 16th. This two wins are big step in the right direction.

These man purses sure look funn because we are not used to them. But they must be realy practical.

Sucks to have your pockets full with vallet, phone, a couple of keys, gum, etc... Maybe looks even worse than a man's purse at times :P
