What I'd bet he's getting at is the tired accusation that we had intentionally tanked and some how fixed the lottery balls against the Celtics, possibly with Pop using his 'Professor X' powers, in order to land Duncan. I doubt he's using the ref scandal as a point of anti-ethical interest, so as to not have to point the finger back at his own chest. Plus, he's not a Suns fan (I don't think at least).

I agree, but that's a hard sell to people in La La Land. They are (and classically have been) the perfect team for their city. Egocentric, flashy and dramatic, and it usually makes for entertaining basketball too. We are a reflection of our city as well.
