Still, the 2nd unit would be pretty much useless without Hill and Blair. This game plus the rest pretty much proved that.

Not really, putting teams/players in foul trouble is a great weapon for the entire Spurs team. Especially for guys like Parker, Manu who love to drive, Duncan who's a force down in the post and now guys like Hill, RJ, Mason, Dice.

Jerrells was expected to be cut..it would have taken a huge effort for him to make it..

Even if Jones and Jerrells were pretty decent, we've got a full roster. It's a good forum for them to try out for the rest of the NBA. Or DLeague too
