True, however, when people cry over "Aww, they are a piece of because they cheated" the fact that they cheated doesn't make the game of football any less entertaining.

    I found this amusing...

DeAngelo Hall: "Like I said, I hadn't played Andre in the league," said Hall. "I played him in college. This is my first time going against him in the league. I gave him a lot of props during the game. During the game, he didn't scare me. He didn't do anything that looked spectacular. He didn't do anything to make me feel like he was the best. Maybe the numbers indicate he is, but I didn't feel that way when I lined up against him. He caught a lot of balls in zone and was just kinda running wide open in zones, not really man to man."

Today, during an appearance on Houston's SportsRadio610, Andre Johnson responded to Hall's comments. If you don't want to listen to the entire podcast, here's what Johnson had to say:

"I mean, those are (Hall's) thoughts," said Johnson. "The scheme that they ran, if he wanted to play me man-to-man, he should have told his coaches before the game. That's not my problem. For them to be running zone coverages like that with the safety over the top, and for me to still have 12 catches for 158 yards, somebody wasn't doing their job."

Hey, if you get burned, man up and admit it. Johnson is the best in the league and proved it again last sunday.

No, Andre Johnson is a straight up gorilla. 6'3", 225 pounds, freak athleticism. The guy is just a freak physically.

No, he is just a freak athletically, you know, some people are just the best without cheating. I guess you don't remember Michael Irvin and his drug problems

Irvin didn't cheat to improve performance, he just got loaded between games. Besides, he was a pillar of the community...he helped self-employed models find work.

That being said, if Johnson is on something (which I doubt)...he has yet to be found guilty so until he does, he is clean.

Dre is a freak as an athlete, you can't automatically assume just because he is that good, that it's not due to natural talent and work ethic. I used Irvin as an example because I don't have to assume that he was/is a crackhead, because there is proof.

Michael Irvin also had natural talent and great work ethic when it came to football...it was his off the field activities that were his problem.
