Sure you don't.
I really don't care what you think on this matter, Dumper.
Sure you don't.
Maybe equal parts each. He was involved in prosecuting heroin trafficking as well at that time, so might have more to do with that.
ah, I see. does anyone doubt he is dead and most likely killed?
I see Cub's a big fan of The Turner Diaries.
The unsubstantiated rumor is he knew too much/in too deep and was hushed by the rich boosters.
...or perhaps he knew too much/in too deep and was hushed by the seedy mobsters?
I tend to believe he was in on this to some degree, because his home computer revealed searches on how to clean hard drives, and his laptop harddrive was removed from the discarded computer, and his cell phone was left with his car, possibly to avoid it being tracked.
There's too many actual coincidences in this to chalk his early involvement and subsequent/simultaneous disappearance as crazy. Too much of a connection and the pieces fit too nicely.
Looks like Paterno has lawyered up.
Joe Paterno has reached out to a prominent Washington criminal defense lawyer to represent him in the Penn State sex abuse case, a source close to the case told NBC News.
J. Sedgwick Sollers, who once represented President George H.W. Bush in the Iran-Contra affair, was contacted by Paterno's advisers on Thursday. But Sollers has not yet met with Paterno, and a formal retainer agreement has not been signed.
Motha a is a hundred in years old....why doesn't he in retire and shut the up already...
he has done enough damage already...
what does he want....money????
his job back?????
Just die already.
I was listening to local sports radio today and some lady called and made a really good analogy, I thought.
She was trying to rationalize how McQueary could walk into the lockeroom, see Sandusky abusing a child, and then proceed to do the equivalent of nothing at all.
She couldnt come to terms with it. He obviously wasnt in on it because he reported it to his superiors. Why didnt he call the cops? Make a bigger deal about it, etc?
If you walked in on one of your bosses raping a child, youd report him, period. your job/career, this guy is a piece of .
But if your boss also happens to be a mob boss, you would probably shut the door and never speak of it again.
Basically, she made an apt analogy that McQueary may have felt that Penn State could have ruined him and not only his career. Maybe he felt PSU had all arms of law enforcement in their pocket and could even go so far as to falsely convict him of some wrong-doing.
I know this doesnt mean anything and to me, it absolves McQueary of nothing (nothing at all), but it would explain much about the lack of follow through on the case by so many people.
His only mistake was not retaining one immediately when this thing broke Monday morning. He coulda got the Mackey girl. She got Kobe straightened out in nothing flat.
whoa whoa whoa.. do you think sandusky was involved with the mob? aside, couldn't his computer search have been planted by someone else? the hard drive been taken by someone else?
..seems too convenient.
as for paterno hiring a lawyer.. i think that says a lot. guilty.
I'm sure he had a lawyer back in April.
The mobsters are the heroin racket he was DAing over and trying to take down.
I don't typically do the conspiracy thing, but this is just too perfect a storm of coincidence to not try and connect the phantom dots.
right, but do you think sandusky could have had some connection to that mob? or simply separate incidents, of which one led to his demise?
its just too insane..
I'm not ready to make the leap that Sandusky had connections to drug running organized crime. However, if these peripheral allegations of a pros ution ring are true, then he catered to those with massive amounts of money, power and influence, so I suppose it's possible, but my post was to highlight them as separate possibilities for the DA's disappearance. Each has legs, TBH...
McQueary will not be at the game tomorrow because of fears for his security.
Also, Penn State just lost a recruit who decommitted to the university.
I knew your life could be summed up in one word.
Every sport is not the NCAA. You should know that by now, but having seen your previous posts, it is obvious simple concepts take you awhile to figure you. Keep trying though.
Perhaps, but it has been done before by the NCAA. So if there is a precedent I don't think you can be a hypocrite. You may want to check the definition though.
You do know the difference between an exhibition and a regular season game right or do I have to explain that to you? Dude you just don't get, never will, just accept that and move on.
McQueary will not be at the game tomorrow and has been placed on administrative leave, per ESPN's coverage of Rodney Erickson's press conference as the new president of Penn State.
I'm confused. Was McQueary getting threats because he blew the whistle or threats because he was still employed?
Probably because he saw Sandusky in the shower with the boy and did nothing about it at the time except tell Paterno. If he would've beat the out of him and/or called the cops right away, they would've avoided this whole mess
Really?
Do you think an ass kicking would have changed Sandusky's sickness?
Or cured it?
