Perhaps pick him up and settle in camp and pre-season who's more fit at the SF between him and Anderson?
Kwai at sf. Rip at sg and manu off the bench
Probably better than RJ
Too bad it won't happen.

Rather bring back Sam Mack tbh...

Not good news. The Nuggets can easily outbid the Spurs if it came down to that. There was some good Nuggets news late Thursday. A source from around the league said Denver is making a strong push for forward Luc Mbah a Moute, a restricted free agent who played with Milwaukee last season. The 25-year-old Mbah a Moute (pronounced bah ah moo-tay) averaged 6.7 points per game and 5.3 rebounds, while showcasing a defensive dedication that would fit well with Denver coach George Karl's philosophy.

what has been good news for sa so far this offseason lol
didn't the Spurs play Hill and Neal at SF against Memphis after finally benching RJ?
Rip's taller than those guys at least.
I have a feeling Josh Howard's going to be our starting SF next year...=(

It's probably obvious by now, but Spurs apparently aren't interested in pursuing Vince Carter.

Maybe all this compressed activity is good for the league. After dead air, there's something new every minute of the day, and players are getting wake up calls that their asses are expendable.
Should make for an interesting season.
Thats easy DP. He already has hardware. So just make the green from here on out. he main Ms. MONEY and MEMORIES. He has his memories. Now go pile up cash and if another contender comes knocking down the line great. Just my 0.02
This.
As bad as RJ has been for us, I don't think J. Howard would be any better (I'm assuming he's the prospective replacement the Spurs are waiting for to sign).
Especially with the shorten season. RJ should still have the corporate Knowledge advantage over J. Howard.
If it came down to choosing between the 2, I'd still go with RJ and save the amensty for next summer or try to trade RJ .
This ing blows. you RJ for ever existing. you RC for extending this got. Please do the right thing now and amnesty this worthless piece of so we can move on.
You've gotta stop holding back Ben, tell us what you really feel...
I ing hate the stupid ass front office of this team
Agree. They need to cut the dead weight on the team and RJ is a start, Bonner soon to follow.
No need to meltdown. It has been a really terrible start to free agency, but keep in mind it doesn't mean the Spurs aren't trying. It's hard to get deals done. Nothing is guaranteed, so I'm sure the Spurs have tried but sometimes deals fall through. We all knew they would be in a tough spot with this roster when they committed to RJ and this core, so it's not at all surprising; but it's disappointing. Good news is there is always time to decide on what's best and worst case scenario we are looking at cap space next year & what I believe to be a better overall team this year with the additions of Kawhi, a healthy James Anderson, a hopefully robust infusion of minutes for Tiago and then adding TJ Ford as a back up guard.
You forgot to add Jefferson's photo to that list.
spurfan is funny.
With RJ still here and with a lot of these players gone, a question raises: At what point of this list would you rather have RJ than the FA listed as starting SF?
If you take aside AK47 who is likely not available for a MLE offer, I think RJ is better than the rest of the field.
Follow me back on Twitter @I_CanBe23
It has already reached the point where I think it is best to keep RJ if he cannot be traded (which would result in getting a big in return) in the next weeks. Then Leonard has to start at SF witch Green, Butler backing him up ...
why would ak47 leave russia if his earning more then MLE over there and on a long term contract
Mbah a Moute to Denver. 4 years, $19m.
