Oh man, $40M for Jeff freakin' Green? Dear oh dear.
At least RJ had production.
Oh man, $40M for Jeff freakin' Green? Dear oh dear.
I hope we get Green....
DANNY GREEN
This is probably pretty good for us. I'm pretty sure that Danny Green and Boris Diaw are 'everyone else'.
I just want to hear some spurs news. any spurs news ! Damn the stealth front office of ours.
They used their news quota for the 2012-2013 season during the 2011-2012 season. I mean you had the "fuk yo team" GS trade, then Diaw and Mills signing. Plus you had Pop getting COY and having to give a press conference.
At this point we're going to be notified by the concessions stand people on opening night before the Spurs leak something
Jesus. Teams can't even officially sign players till the 11th. Be patient.
How bout Soloman Alabi? He's a 7'1" 250lbs giant. He's only played a few games in his career so far but he's young and huge.
Trade Manu for a defensive minded big then sign someone like JR Smith or Nick Young to take over our SG duties
Or trade Tony for a defensive big and sign a servicable PG like Raymond Felton, Andre Miller or someone. Felton isnt flash but gets the job done and is very steady.

Are Chris caveman Kamaan and Kris frankenstein Humphries unrestricted? Humphries averaged 14pts 11reb a block and a steal last year. They should try get one of them. Though Kris will think hes worth more money then he is. Is Ilyasova unrestricted? He'd be a solid option.

The 76ers have decided to use the amnesty clause on Elton Brand and the $18M left on final year of his deal, league sources tell Y! Sports.
And no Spurs fans, he's not an option. He'll be claimed by a team with cap space.
It has been nearly a week and still no news about Spurs, Diaw or Green.
Spurs free agency is like the draft so far. Long and boring.![]()
At least we don't hear other teams making big offers to those players.
Question: Have the Spurs ever signed someone using the LLE (or what is now known as the BAE)?
They definitely have not used it since the implementation of the 2005 CBA. I'm not sure if they used an earlier version of the BAE (I believe it was referred to as the "million dollar exception") under earlier CBAs.
Manu in 02.
Way OT but it's worth posting for the LOL factor.
Nigeria has just eliminate Greece of the Olympics after beating them 80-79 in the qualifying tournament. It was damn fun to watch.

Portland has finalized the buyout agreement with F Shawne Williams, per source. He was owed $3.1 million next season & joins free agent pool
16th pick in 2006 to buy out in 2012.
Rondo and Millsap were picked later on in the draft, but other than guessing right on one of those guys, the other guys they had available to pick didn't exactly set the world on fire either. Balkman, Lowry, Shannon Brown, and Farmar are probably the best of the remainder, and none of those guys are with their original teams either.
sounds like Ray Allen is going to Heat:
Micky Arison @MickyArison
