What the was that?
Wow, sorry to hear about SJax guys, that sucks for real...
What the was that?
As soon as Manu and Tim sit down, this game is over, tbh
not too bad, 5 pt game
"PG" Timmy to "sharp-shooter" Blair on that last play. Great look.![]()
Rob Gronkowski of the Patriots broke his forearm and is out the same amount of time.
Cue "Fingers are important" posts.
What happened to Jack? I missed it!
what a terrible quarter of basketball.... surprised their only down by 5 though
Tell me about it, there was at least 6 plays where Tim tried to be the PG in the first half, succeeded once.
Who was that guy from Memphis(?) that looked good in preseason? Witherspoon?
Well, will this be another injury plagued season? Manu got it started off and now others getting hit.
It's ok, more time for Nando....![]()
With Jax/Leonard both out, that mean more of Diaw or possibly Bonner...ugh
This REALLY sucks. The Spurs basically need to survive until Kawhi comes back. They have NO ONE that can defend the SF position now (unless they play Manu or Green there and move Mills and Nando to the SG spot).![]()
More or less.
That said, the Spurs bench needs some tightening...a back-up point guard first and foremost. Manu, Jax, Diaw, and Splitter are all quality players but with a few flaws -namely injuries, passiveness, and confidence issues respectively. A guard like say...TJ Ford...would do a lot to make our bench more consistent. The lack of a good ball handler really shows against teams like the Clips.
Neal, Mills, and DeColo won't cut. I'd almost rather see Joseph getting burn.
, I'm going to the Spurs-Rockets game on December 28th (39 days from now). I hope Jax is back by then. I want to see a fully healthy Spurs squad...
Hopefully not. The dude sucks.
I would say Manu but the bench is screwed if they do that. Plus chances are he would be the next one to go down for a long stretch
Diaw maybe, that would be the most intriguing option for me but that would mean big minutes for BonBon.
i'm thinking of going after Christmas as well. never been to a game in person. , i hope this injury levels off once playoffs hit. we will need some help against LA Floppers and Grizzlies.
Yeah. So far. He's being baptized in fire right now though so we can't use this current outing as an assessment.
