de colo & mills could never do what cojo just did![]()
de Colo 6 assts for the record![]()
Spurs could probably have won this game by 50 points if the bench had been trying on defense at the end
Spurs with 19 threes on 56% shooting!![]()
IMO we're just that much better with the bobcats on the court.

Damn straight.
Pin point accuracy. timvp how about some award for my genius?![]()
Those 19 threes are a new franchise record, by the way.
Great game. Especially by Danny Green! He was ballin' all night.
Got any proof of that? Not that I'm saying you're lying, but 19 threes for a franchise record seems a bit low.
RT @JMcDonald_SAEN: Spurs have also tied single-game club record with 17 3s. Still whole quarter to go.
RT @Monroe_SA: Final in Charlotte: SAS 132, CHA 102; franchise record 19 3-pointers made by Spurs, 7 by Danny Green
I guess the Spurs have never been a great three point shooting team then.
Didn't Spurs had 23 3-pointers last season?
lol, do you watch many games? 19 made threes is a lot of threes.
You must be confusing attempts with made threes.
Didnt the Suns or Magic hit over 20 threes a couple of years ago?
The Mavs and Magic each had a 20-three game in the past few years, I believe.
Knicks had 18 against the heatles the other night, on 44 attempts
Quite to the contrary, the Spurs have been known for their elite 3-point shooting. They haven't been known for having a coach who runs up the score or chases meaningless records, though.
According to basketball reference, since the 85-86 season a team has scored more than 19 three pointers only 20 times, and 5 each for the Knicks and Suns. Dallas never scored more than 19. That means half the franchises have a record for 3-pointers that's lower than that. All in all what happened yesterday happens less often than once every season on average.
The current record is 23 by the Magic, and I think they can be thankful the Spurs moved away from shooting 3-pointers in the second half or their record would have been in serious jeopardy.
3's allow teams that have no business winning games to win because there's no such thing as 3pt percentage defense. The best you can do is limit attempts.
