asked about the back up SF, Pop mentions it would be nice to have one more (wing) player. ("...another big body, so we don't have to overplay Marco and Danny..")
no surprise that they don't see the current options with Beli/Manu at the SF spot as a long term solution.
the interesting point: sounds like he isn't concerned about the ability of this players to fill the spot, but more that it costs them to much energy to fight in a higher weight class. and knowing how careful Pop is with managing the mileage, I can't see them wait to fix this lack till deadline. the problem is this: the player they want must be good enough to warrant something like 15 MGP. and this would make him #9 or #10 in the regular rotation. the players they tried were not even good enough for a 15th spot. looks as if we are back to some trade speculations.
