Clippers will finish 3rd IMO..
So, then the question is would you rather open with Memphis or Houston?
Clippers will finish 3rd IMO..
Houston. 1 man team and he'll get tired.
Patrick Beverly hurt his wrist. Kevin McHale mentioned he could be out for a while. Dwight will be back this week though.
Spurs are 3 games behind Rockets for 3 seed with 12 games to go.They play each other back to back in 3 nights.Tbh,I expect a split, most here probably expect the same.If so,that's 3gb with 10 to go.Exactly 3 in loss column.
Clippers have a very easy schedule. It's likely they or Rockets will get the 3rd seed.
Blazers are fading, but locked into the 4th seed, because of being division leader, unless OKC by some miracle make up that ground.
If it appears we are strictly a 6 or 7th seed, then we should just rest starters.I say Duncan gets 5 games off.At his age, mileage, and recent deep trips into June,it makes sense.Same for Parker.Manu should get a few games, maybe two, since he was recently out with injury.Leonard should rest 2 games.
Im in favor for sitting Parker couple of games,if it can help get Mills on track, and get some minutes for Joseph. They should play all 48 minutes at point, not another player like Manu or Beli.
Spurs aren't winning a le as a lower seed - not with 2015 Enrique as the focal point of their offense anyway. The decline is too significant to ignore. Porker can no longer bring it against the best teams and the rest of the squad is no longer stepping up to offset his tyness like in last year's playoffs. SA would need 2003 Timmy on this roster in order to have any shot at winning as the 7th seed. Just enjoy the ride I guess - might be the last time we see TD and Manu in the Spurs uniform.

1. GS
2. Memphis
3. LAC
4. Portland
is virtually a lock IMO
The 2 games vs. Houston are going to decide the Spurs' seeding IMO..it'll probably be a split, but they really need to win those 2 games to have a real shot at the 5 seed and HCA vs. the Blazers..I'd rather avoid 6, though, I'd much rather play Memphis than the Clippers..
The Spurs haven't looked sharp, at all, on the road lately, so I can't even imagine them beating Harden @ home, at this point..hopefully they start stringing some games together..
Definitely Memphis. Not even sure the current Spurs can beat Houston with their weak perimeter defense outside of Leonard and Green.
Stay at 7th and shoot for Grizz... beating their asses in that fashion would be excellent.

Spurs route as the 5th seed to the Finals:
Portland
Warriors
Memphis
Spurs route as the 6th seed to the Finals:
Houston
Memphis
Warriors
Spurs route as the 7th seed to the Finals:
Memphis
Mavericks
Warriors
I'd probably favor the 7th seed path
though, the 6th seed is probably more likely.
^^ Clippers have just 3 games remaining vs. playoff teams, with 2 of the 3 @ home..I'd be stunned if they don't get the 3 seed..
Grizzlies are most overrated basketball team in the world.
Spurs could have HCA in round 2
WCSF Spurs vs Mavs- o WCF
Ideal scenario:
1) GS
2) Memphis - Provided we dont catch them
3) Spurs
4) Portland
5) Houston
6) Clippers
7) Dallas
8) OKC
Clippers do not confront me.
In all of their last 14 games, the Spurs have held a double-digit lead at one time in each, including the losses. Over their last 14 games, the Spurs are winning by an average of 13.4 points per game, which ranks first in the league during that stretch.
The chart below displays the Spurs’ largest leads in the last 14 games.
Opponent Largest Lead @ Kings 15 @ Suns 34 Vs. Kings 40 Vs. Nuggets 10 Vs. Bulls 19 Vs. Raptors 26 Vs. Cavaliers 10 Vs. Timberwolves 39 @ Knicks 13 @ Bucks 19 Vs. Celtics 25 @ Hawks 26 @ Mavs 14 Vs. Thunder 44

Kind of goes hand in hand with the other thread about +/- of Spurs units. Some of the 5 pairs are very strong while others are terrible.
Spur swill finish 6th or 7th, which is fine by me.
Portland, Memphis, and Clippers in that order of who I'd like the Spurs to play. But they can beat any of those teams (and lose to any of them as well).
Gotta get the wins vs the Rockets, then it's 6th or better.
Spurs play like they played last night and it won't matter. They will be hard to beat. No one wants to play them.
houston playing against wash today
Memphis is going to get the 5 seed -__- We will be playing Clippers/Rockets in round 1 unless we run the table
Now that Memphis has inexplicably fallen to #3, is the 2 seed within our reach?![]()
Look at the Clippers schedule, it would take a miracle for the Spurs to finish ahead of them, tbh..
Have to win both games vs. Houston for HCA, unless Memphis just never wins again IMO..
Looking like Dallas is going to lose to Indiana.
