Hope Tayshaun is ready for that Spurs System magic![]()
Yeah. The whining about Tiago getting paid too much on that contract is sounding sillier by the minnit. The "Danny Green Is Under-Rated" crowd looking silly, too, with Danny winning the Danny v. Tiago poll 15-0, the last time I checked. Strawman.
Not another old please.
Isn't it widely known by now that the Spurs are going to have to fill some roster spots with cheap vets if they end up landing Aldridge. There's only so much money going around and when a guy like Belinelli is getting offered north of 6M annually you know what type of market you are in. Prince could be a decent option.
At first I was like no! But hmm for 10-12 mins a night to give Kawhi a breather, we could do worse. He showed he had some game left with the Grizzlies..
If we can get him for the minimum, why not?
If it means Bonner will be gone, bring him on a vet minimum .
Pass on these old scrubs, please..Butler, Boozer, Prince..disgusting..
I'm aware that you need minimum salary players to fill out the roster, but I'd rather spend it on a lesser known veteran, tbh..
Unibrow will sign a max extension at 140 mil/5 yrs. 29 millions/year.
Ramona Shelburne @ramonashelburne
Teams calling on Patrick Beverly tonight: Cleveland, Dallas, Houston, and Knicks
With Danny possibly being courted though makes me really wonder about that 26th pick, lol.. stashing some guy instead of a potential SG/SF with upside rather than go after a vet who may not have anything left in the tank.
Is Dallas pursuing every FA in the league?![]()
Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA
Free agent guard Monta Ellis is gathering traction in talks with the Indiana Pacers, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
Makes no sense with Kawhi and Kyle Anderson
He'd just hang out in a sports coat
Yes, make it happen, lol. Paul George would freak
Tayshaun Prince? WTF?![]()
Monta to Indiana actually makes sense. They desperately lack scoring and someone who can create offense.
Magic: If you come to LA I'll let you into whatever movie you want to see.
Worthy: You can be the face of the franchise in 2 seasons
Mitch: It's LA everyone wants to be here.
Kobe: How many rebounds you avg. last year?
Needed every penny of cap space.
They could strike gold with a guy who had been bouncing around Europe or D-League, or a UFA. #26 is never a sure fire hit.
I'm for going after Prince as a back up for cheap.
But the salaries would be higher for someone who's at least competent and has been in the league longer. All I'm saying is that if Manu walks and Green leaves that's 2 roster spots to fill with vets that will cost significantly more than #26.
Prince is a washed up POS. NEXT!!!
