My goodness, two preseason games in and people are writing this guy off. Guy just needs to get acclimated to the NBA game. I thought he moved well. The problem is he got caught flat footed a lot. He needs to learn to position himself better off the pnr. This is something the coaching staff will be working on.
That is what the preseason is for. To provide film to bench players on how they can improve their games.

Only 2 pre-season games. Learning the system and getting a feel for the NBA will take time. However, he's enough of an intimidator that he'll be worth playing.
Still excited for the Serbian mountain troll to get comfortable. You can't not love watching him dwarf nonthyroid enhanced players.
He'll be the guy all the players want to dunk on. This guy is too slow. I saw his rebounding in the Heat game and it was an embarrassment. Once teams make him move in space on defense, he'll never get back on the court.

Flailing? He legit got tripped both times. He's also doesn't have low center of gravity thus he is bound to lose his balance when banging against a 275 lbs man-child.

Boban looked a lot better last night.. Granted it was against the bench, but its not like hes the spurs starting center.

Next Yao Ming
It was against scrubs, but very promising.
That fool kept catching the ball with 1 hand an palming it then passing it without ever having to adjust. Crazy!!! If Pop ever get crazy enough to use him a lot.... The league would be ed. His soft touch, speed, an knowledge of the game is apparent. Once he's use to the NBA, omg.

I sincerely hope he does not only get garbage time minutes. He is fun to watch because he is unique in todays NBA and the crowd likes him as well it seems. I am a fan tbh ...

He's perfect for the 'don't leave the ground' defense. For position defense and blocking shots. He's so long he can be affective.
The Clippers will be a big match-up obstacle for the Spurs.
The Spurs' frontline rotation of Duncan, LMA, Diaw and West is savvy but not quick.
The Clips are big, strong, quick and intimidating. DJ and Griff.
They have big bodies but frail minds.
I could see Boban getting time against the Clips.
Boban's size, efficiency and calm presence might frustrate the out of them.
He's an immovable object.
I see angry punches and blank Boban smirks.
As far as his potential goes, Boban himself put it best: "Limit is sky."
Since Pop likes to keep the bench together, maybe instead of moving West or Boris up on nights Timmy rests, he'll start Boban. That would be interesting (against the right teams).
he looked very good, runs the court, decent hands, plays with relatively good intensity and looks to pass when he has to pass and shoot when he needs to shoot. Hopefully he works hard and becomes a legit nba player.
