Pop was right, another first half free throw fest by some team on the road. They're shooting 12% worse than the Spurs and aren't even outrebounding them , yet the Spurs lead is only 1 due to these free throws.

The refs have been terrible when it comes to the Spurs for a few years now. It's just a lot worse now that the Spurs don't have Duncan to bail them out on defense to offset the biased officiating by being an elite rim protector/shot blocker.

I don't understand how we're foul machines all of a sudden. Spurs defense used to pride itself on not fouling. League preparing to us okc style in the playoffs again?

It's hard to tell with teams like them (the Wolves I place in the same category...) bc at some point they have to start teaching these kids to really play winning basketball. YOu can't underestimate the opposition ever as Pop would say...

Once
guys blow past you and get to the rim... it's really easy to get fouls called... very easy to throw their body into you, etc and draw a foul... IMO.
