Nobody mentioned pop not challenging the out of bounds call that DJ was upset about near end? They scored when it should've been dpurs ball. Pop not fighting for or protecting his guys giving them a chance to win.

I’m pretty confident a polar bear wouldn’t step out of bounds once or twice a game.
What you got against polar bears?

They already used up the challenge on the shooting foul called against White

finally a game that was watchable again ... i liked the defense of the starting lineup woth KBD but without McBuckets our three point shooting now seems to be limited to Devin Vassell. and damn this FT shooting is ugly

Also, coaches can't challenge an out-of-bounds call within the last two minutes.

Should have been an automatic review by the refs though but they just said "too ing bad, go play." Funny, because if LeBron or Kawhi whine about a call, they stop everything they are doing and head straight to the monitors.

Good moral victory last night. But we need, what, 24 more real victories so Pop can retire and we can redirect our team building approach, hopefully.

Very frustrating loss, they were close in the end. That’s a good experience anyway, White showed up, Poeltl is back, Vassell is still improving. Still an entertaining team to watch !

I can live with poor shooting. I can’t live with these dumb mistakes by our young guys that lead to momentum the other way.
Just like you said, they’re young, so obviously they’ll make mistakes, but they’re learning from them.

The lead went from 100-95 to 110-95 in literally less than 2 minutes. Why is it always so easy for the other team to score when the game gets too close for comfort for them? Holy

Devin needs to start over White... But don't say it too loudly or else Pop will send him to the G-league... U know the scary thing though, if it weren't for white's injury at the beginning of last season that forced Vassel to play, he may have been in the g-league the whole of last season and may have been there this season too. I don't expect Primo to have regular playing time until 2023...and that's insane as a 12th pick...we would have had Giannis in the g- league

I don't understand this . Back when we had Tim, Tony, Manu, yeah, you could send guys to the G-League, but we're a bottom of the barrel team now. How the heck do you still send guys to the G-League when you could afford to give them playing time now against good NBA compe ion. I don't understand what Pop is going. This isn't a championship team anymore.

And yeah, I agree, it's probably time to start Devin. What is it will all this fitting square pegs into round holes that he's been doing these past few years. Did Bruce Bowen come off the bench, did Kawhi come off the bench? What the F is he doing? White is sucking, and he continues to start him. When he should have tried starting White a year or two ago (when White was playing better and had more confidence) with Dejounte, he didn't. If you ask me, Pop seems to make a lot of wrong decisions these days. I wonder if his previous assistant coaches (that have gone on to bigger and better things) had more influence than I thought? I used to think Pop was the greatest of all time, but slowly over time that has eroded. I'm really not sure what to say about him as of now.

You also might be right about Giannis. He may never have become anywhere near the player he is now if he had been drafted by the Spurs with Pop as his coach. That would have been a tragedy if he had to go to the G-league and spend years there. Giannis is an amazing player right now, and I do think playing against NBA compe ion regularly is what helped him get there.

Landale needs to get some spot minutes if anything, this team literally cannot shoot threes and it seems like he's one of the very few players on this team that can stretch the floor. this team desperately needs a stretch big. What the did we sign him for? He's 26 and has played pro overseas and was a starter on the Australian national team that got bronze. Just a bizarre signing by the Spurs for him just to ride the bench.

Doesn't matter if Jocks available . lord pop will continue to quarantine the aussie on the bench while going with " his" guys until seasons end. Its pops way of doing things.

I agree that jock needs some game rotational minutes. Yeah, Young gets traded by the deadline, but Smith is aiming for a return too.
