Kobe Bufkin was 0/8 from 3 along with 8 TO and 8 fouls... damn.
He had 7 points on 1/4 from the field but 5/6 FT , but also 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 3 blocks in 27 minutes... not a bad stat line.
To answer your question, he's probably had the worst debut relative to expectations, but I'd say the good he showed is already elite, I'd say Brandon Miller has been the most underwhelming though his team is atrocious. Not a top pick, but his teammate Nick Smith has been horrendous.

The Spurs vs. Pistons on Friday will be televised by ESPN instead of NBA TV, the NBA announced.
It also has a new start time: 8 p.m. Central
I'm not used to this.
The Pistons have, in theory, a talented roster. Should be a fun game
I feel like it's a trick. They just announced it so we will all tune in and it won't be there.
Everyone on the spurs bandwagon now
ESPN trying to meme a Wemby return into existence?![]()
In Summer League?? Ain’t no way
Can anyone be so kind as to explain how a champion is crowned on this thing? I think I've heard/read somewhere that there's a final, how does that work?
Wemby v. chet rivalry gonna be something special.
The Ozempic Olympics?
lol Walsh's shots get increasingly uglier but he just keeps chucking them up. It's quite the spectacle, tbh.![]()
alot of his points came from his team setting him up to score easy points....hopefully our team can do the same with wemby
They’ve already clashed in FIBA. USA won, but Wemby outplayed him.
They played one game a couple of years ago. Let’s not act like anything has been established yet
Nosferatu... could have had him...![]()
My feels is Chet has a lower ceiling than Wemby but will be a great defensive anchor for a team that has been running almost pure guard lineups with a PF like Jeremiah Robinson-Earle. Everything they have depends on Shai. They're merely passable otherwise -- they have to thank God for Jerry West and Kawhi for him.

Chet comes in as a much more established shooter than Victor. Between 3s and rolls, he’s probably going to have an easier time scoring than Victor, especially being on a team with more talent. Chet is also probably more sound defensively at this point. Victor is just much more physically overwhelming
I know there’s a couple Jordan Walsh stans in here who wanted us to take Walsh.
Trade up for him tbh. 2 FRPs + 33 (throw 44 if that doesn't make it).
Agreed. Victor is more physically gifted and his talent is off the charts, but Chet is more crafty and polished as a shooter, which you'd expect as he's almost 2 years older. That coupled with the fact that he's almost 2 years older and that he's playing on a team that's further along, makes him a good ROY candidate provided he can stay healthy. Scoot should be in the conversation too, he's going to pad stats like crazy in Portland.
