I really would like to see Wemby play more in the paint on defense. Not because of some anachronistic "big men belong in the paint" mindset, but instead because contesting layups is far more valuable from an efficiency standpoint than contesting jumpers. A team with Wemby really shouldn't be giving up that many easy layups.

yeah flying at 3 pointers is good here and there, but seems to be his primary defensive assignment. though to be fair, him being out on the perimeter also helps him play passing lanes and use his reach to give help defense to penetrators. or lets him double and recover. there's utility to it, but we havent really seen it pay dividends so far in regular season action

Ya'll, roast me if you want for saying that this is prolly the first time pop has truly frustrated me (and I am 46 and have been a fan for a long damn time), but he is ing up for real if he pulls wemby again while he is flowing right now. I just can't support this level of bs.
