Nah, not at all, I've stopped expecting any drawn plays or anything of that sort from Pop years ago
I'm talking about the lockeroom and man management. Pop is still great at that, call it psychologue or manipulative but he knows how and when talk to ppl, the choice of words etc
Where a lot of coaches would just impose their decisions, Pop knows how to convince and make players accept decisions that aren't in their best individual interest.
Those kids (Brahman, Wesley, KD, Chanp in paticular) want to eat, need to do their numbers etc I don't think a min they dislike Wemby but why should they act in his interest rather than their own and pass him the ball instead of calling their own number?
This is exactly what we saw last season and clearly Pop (who else would've?) passed a message that was applied post ASG
Mitch is incapable of doing so and I'm still stunned at his answer regarding Wemby's struggle with being dble/triple teammed ('He needs to figure it out..." wow thx for the help coach!)

I was able to only just watch this game. Good win. Victor not playing well, but great team win. Stephon, I really liked his play out there. Keldon, Malaki and Blake also played well.
Has anyone watched New Orleans this year? Brandon Boston Jr. is looking like he's playing well. He had 26pts, 6rebs, 3ast, 2stls against the Wizards last night. Looks like he's really taking advantage of the court time he's getting and making the most of it. Why was he not given more run with the Spurs in the preseason? He's averaging 17.6 ppg his last 5 games and shooting over 50% from the field and 41% from three point range at around 4-5 attempts per game.
more minutes for wesley and duke? Who knows? Lol bwrong
