Sunday the 23rd is likely the first game of the playoffs. Don't worry so much about setting up a time to get together yet. They'll be playoff GTG's very soon.

But we want to kick ass....


Any Sunday is fine with me ... my kids are in a diabetic coma by noon on Easter anyway.

we need to find a girl pitcher. that way we can have as many guys playing the other positions as possible. Girl pitcher and girl catcher leaves only 3 other girls for the rest of the positions. Girl at 2nd, Girl at 1st, and girl somewhere in the outfield.

I think someone mentioned earlier about how gender is positioned on defense ... I read it doesn't matter as long as there are the right/equal number somewhere on the field.



I have no idea if I can pitch or not ... I didn't think I could hit worth a crap and I proved myself wrong, so who knows.

The Hack Shack is on Wetmore right before you get to Thousand Oaks (it's an outside one so weather matters)

Baseball City is on Austin Hwy & Walzem, (it's an indoor one) in the (delapidated) shopping center that used to have Builder's Square...or Woolco if you're as old as me.

I've lived in a baseball family my entire life...I know all of the rules, I've just never really played.

Same here, grew up in a family with 4 brothers who all played ball. I decided to ditch dance lessons at a young age and join softball. My mom was devastated.

My brother played at Alamo Heights ... and my dad and a few others tried desperately to garner interest in a girls softball league so I could play, but there was never enough interest, so I was resigned to keeping score, announcing, and working in the concession stand.

And ogling, of course.

Now my daughter plays at Alamo Heights and there is almost nothing but girls softball.
