Damn I stopped watching Lost 2 weeks ; it was great, but it has turned blah
I think she will turn on the others, and she made that deal before she saw how things were on the beach. Plus I really think shes falling in love with Jack, so that will play a big part in what she does. On the other hand though she really does want to get off the island.

Sayid has used torture techniques twice since swearing it off. Enough with the damn torture, we've seen with Ben that they don't talk. What's more, they don't even tell each other what's going on

I liked this episode, thjere was good dialouge and a wonderful ending. Who in the does Jack think he is? If I was Sayid or Sawyer, there would be no f'n way I would let Juliet anywhere near the camp, let alone Claire and her baby. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.
We'll probably find out in the coming weeks. Remember the days run slow on the this show. I think they've been on the island for 90 days.
I haven't believed that was true since her sorry ass story with Kate and the cuffs. I don't know if she'll turn, but I guarantee the reason she is here is to finish her "research" (remember she said she's more of a "researcher" than a "doctor") on Claire and the baby. The plan is probably for her to take the baby, but again, I'm not sure if she'll be turned by the people in the camp.I guess I'll be the one to bump this up this time
did you guys watch tonight's episode and what did you think? I thought it was a very good episode, lots of questions answered... and WOW about the ending!!! I don't know whether I'm mad or just confused or what.... gahhh!!!

I think the reason she's doing this (in spite of everything Ben has done to her) is because Jack was right when he said...."I saw the look in your eyes, you want to go home more than anyone here"....and I think she'll do anything to make it happen.
I want to throw this out there.....I think that Locke is pulling the same covert on the other side of the island. I steadfastly refuse to believe he's been "turned", and I hope the "others" can trust him enough so we might damn find out some of the mysteries concerning them.
Last thing, the only shoddy piece of writing/storyline is Jack's comment to Sayeed, saying "She's under my protection"....I don't think that sounds like something Jack would say or do, to be presumptuous like he has that kind of "power". And Sayeed's response that he's "given up" the torture life is bull ....he's just pretending to go along and keeping a close eye on her.
Jack has taken the lead over Sayeed many times and it really ing annoys me. You're telling me that a ing surgeon is going to order around a military officer when they're taking the camp before and is going to tell him how to handle prisoners? Ha.
I like Jack less and less which each episode. In fact the number of characters I hate is starting to grow larger than the ones I like. I miss Ecko. :-/
Oh, and you KSAT for screwing up the HD sound feed so that I couldn't watch my DVRed version and had to watch it online. es.
All in all, the show is picking up and its getting entertaining again. I'm just waiting for the next bull filler episode to piss me off though.
So your sound was jacked up too? We just thought it was our TV haha. We had to suffer and watch it on regular television broadcast
I was just starting to like Juliet, then they showed the flash back of all the plans she made with Ben. Damn I hope she doesn't go through with it all. It seems to me that she is either falling in love with Jack or already is, hopefully that turns her away from her bad intentions.
I agree with Phat Tony about Locke infiltratin The Others. There's no way he would just turn just like that. He has to be gaining information and stuff.
I didn't like the way that the writers just let Sayid and Sawyer get punked by Juliet like that. That seemed pretty weak and I couldn't imagine two of the toughest guys on the island being told what to do by a fertility doctor. It just didn't seem real.
They really chop Sayeed's balls off. Its bull . Enough of Juliet and Kate being all bad ass, let Sawyer drop a slap once in awhile. :p

And yeah, it was KSAT who ed it up. I would have watched the regular feed too - but we DVR that and watch it later.

I know Jack has trumped Locke, Sayeed, Sawyer, etc....but the way he went about it this time just seemed unbelievable. Usually, he uses reason to get things done his way. Again, I think Sayeed is laying in the weeds on this one, thinking he can get more out of her if he lays off for now....
Our local cable service got their panties in a wad over something with ABC, so we got no HD feed at all for that station until this week.
Anyway, I think that the last few episodes (if you don't count the one with Nicki and the spiders) have been pretty good. This season seems like it has been very uneven compared to the first two. I had low expectations after the two lame episodes with Jack in Thailand and Hurley's VW van, but they've definitely improved since then.
Just a down season all around. I'm hoping for a kick ass final 5 episodes, and jump into next season full blast. No weeks off next year, 24 straight episodes.
That break in the middle killed the momentum of the show. I like the old style of intermittent reruns over the course of a long season....to keep it fresh on people's minds. You don't put a show as successful as Lost on hiatus for months so you can test out other bull pilots in that timeslot....horrible.
A while back the producers said in the Lost podcast that there was talk with ABC they were gonna do what 24 does. Come back in January and have 24 straight eps.
I just watched it today and was annoyed by the sound. I ended up just putting it on Mute and reading captions when it ed up. But it just wasn't the same...

Lost hasn't sucked as much the past couple of episodes, but unfortunately the show jumped the shark a long time ago.
Sorry... the show is now well into sci-fi territory.
