I did.
I'm just saying people shouldn't get that excited and should realize because Caron Butler was playing PF and guarded by Bowen, that left Elson to be matched up with a wing player. Remember how excited everyone got after one game (Dallas) about Elson and how let down they were? Let him string together a couple good games. I prefer him on the floor over Oberto because he's at least tall. But he isn't that good at this point.

yeh Pop needs to stick with him in the starting 5

Thanks! Never even saw the "quote" symbol on the right side. Was trying to manipulate the quote option in the Message section.
Is Pop ever not grumpy in post game?![]()
Nice overall effort. Practice maybe the key to this victory.
Now the Spurs need to get ready for Dwight Howardwho shot 13-14 tonight for 32 points.
I didn't see it but LJ said that Pop couldn't understand any of that guy's questions.
And 9-9 in the game before this one.
It looked like most of the Spurs shaved ... well obviously not Fabricio.
Yeah he's a freakin' beast. I think, by far, he's my favorite non-Spur.
wowi love Dwight Howard.
but what i can't understand is
is he really on the All-Star dunk contest?![]()
i wish him good luck though
but with also 2 losses
Yeah hes one of my top 3 non spurs along with Bosh and Garnett.![]()
and he is a top guy as well![]()
Makes players feel good about their offense.A week ago, the Raptors shot 59% and had 119 points against them.
check yourself.
is tim going to shift over to guard him or will they double team him, i wonder?
I liken Dwight Howard to a 2003-04 Amare. And thusly, Howard will drop at least 30 on us, like Amare, circa 03-04
Overall, it was a pretty good performance against the Wizards. The offense looked good ... but a lot of that can be attributed to Washington's D. The Spurs' D looked good. Bowen put the clamps on Butler and Parker is one of the few players in the league who can contend with Arenas.
I like what I saw out of Elson, but the Spurs need more of that. He was being guarded by a shooting guard most of the night, so it's not too surprising he did well. However, if he can play anything close to this good, the Spurs will be much better.
Good performance and I think the fourth good performance in a row. I realize the Spurs have lose two of those games, but you can see signs of Spurs Basketball once again.
for Elson's 3 blocks vs the Wizards.
BTW, i just can't believe Arenas had NO points in the 4th Quarter at all. If Duncan would be like that some Spurstalk Spurs fans would whining non-stop right now
