Standings is not why I am upset! Homecourt is so ing overrated. Everyone knows health and execution is all that matters and homecourt wont change that. The Spurs are playing with strong belief again! I didnt expect them to really pick it up like this and I didnt expect them to be a true elite this season. Now they are playing typical spurs ball again and this means if we face them, we could very well have a serious fight on our hands instead of a 5 game series! !

First of all, it's bus, not bust dummy.

Second of all I'm obviously aware Tony can create ten times more shot attempts than Elson does. But generally when Frankie does put up a shot it's a high percantage shot. He's .534 from the field and has a good FT % for a big man. What is so stupid about that?

Elson's weakness as an offensive player isn't that he can't score, it's that he's often reluctant or unable to get himself in a position to score. All the more reason for a good PG to help him out and get him the ball in the right situation.

Well last year it almost and should of ended in 5. This year I expected to route the Spurs the same way the Lakers did in 2001, but that may not happen now. Once Dallas reaches loss #10 (tomorrow night vs Lakers on ESPN), they will stop being the talk of the league. Meanwhile, after they lose tomorrow night, the Spurs will hold the longest winning streak in the NBA at 12.

Sorry but the Mavs have that game already locked as a win. Quote me on that tomarrow night!

It is very hard to chillax when this year is le or bust for the Mavs. If we dont win it this year, this team will never get the job done. Yeah we are young blah blah but this current roster gives us the best chance in team history to finally get that ring. If this team isnt enough, then we will never win. And what worries me is no one truly knows if these guys have truly learned their lesson from last year. May will give us that answer for sure but I just cant be 100% sold on that. I may be a y and arrogant Mavs fan, but this is one of those moments where I am being realistic about them.

Hey Dirk, some advice. You shouldn't be upset the Spurs keep winning, you should be thrilled. If the Spurs lose some games that means Utah would be the 3 seed. If Utah is the 3 seed then you'd play SA in round 2. So you'd have to go through both SA and Phx to get back to the Finals. As long as Phx and SA are 2 and 3 you only have to deal with one of them.

Both of them. Either team wont be easy and the road to the finals (outside of round 1) this year is much more brutal then it was last year. But championships are never easy which is why winning it in tough fashion makes it so much sweeter. We still have alot to prove come playoff time. I am VERY confident but also VERY nervous. Homecourt will be nice and all, but it wont mean in terms of us winning. Health and execution will. 1 more month until we all find out what will happen.

Who said that? Most people thought Detroit would take it all. It wasn't until Miami was going to the Finals that people started to favor the Mavericks. The East this year is pretty damn weak and Detroit will probably end up in the Finals again with a worse team than in 2005.
