Yeah, too bad only one of them deserved to get tossed.
It'd be a mistake for any player to think that he needs to be able to shoot the ball in order to contribute. It's also not particularly shocking that Kobe doesn't yet trust his teammates at the end of a must-win game. If they keep it up you'll see him start to pass out of those situations.
Yeah, too bad only one of them deserved to get tossed.
yup, absolutely. btw, i liked so many of your posts tonight, very on point.
If they played in the playoffs who would you root for?
That's what he gets for causing a ruckus on the bench.
Whatever.
If Parker and Ginobili were the ones getting hacked all over the floor, you'd see it differently.
I imagine, that you'd also have something to say about a greater than 2 - 1 free throw disparity.
Not a shock - you probably liked it when Griffin dunked on the Suns for no reason last year or when Robert Horry took a 3 after the Rockets already wrapped up the 1995 NBA le against the Magic, or when the Patriots tramped all over the Chargers' logo, or when Tim Thomas blew a kiss to Dirk.
We might have won that game if Tim Thomas wasn't such a bag.
Oh and Shawn Marion trying to be the hero cost the Suns the game... had a chance to pass to a wide open Amare late in the game... down by 2... and tries a floater over Odom and Brown... but he "gets no respect out there."
ing bull - teamwork wins les and going up 3-0 would have been huge.
Shawn Marion played terribly tonight, on both ends of the floor.
Okay. The refs ed your team, even though Amare got bailed out of an obvious charge for what would have been his third foul and Kobe got hacked with no whistle almost as many times as the Laker fans think he did. You just sound like a loser. If your team didn't want officiating to come into play, it might have helped not to start celebrating at the end of the first quarter.
Parker and Ginobili get hacked all the time, and I'm not on here ing about it when the Spurs lose. The last time I blamed the officials for a loss on this board was in the olympics.
What is so upsetting about it didn't effect the outcome of the game?Smush is playing for his career he might not even be in the league next year.
The Spurs of course. To tell the truth, Im only a bandwagoner warriors fan until the end of the series. Hahah.![]()
Now if the Heat lost to the Bulls in the series, who would you root for?![]()
he must not have had his pregame ritual where he gets his diaper changed and his ass powdered while being fed grapes as 100 twelve year olds tell him how great he is.
Oh, you mean like how Dirk was in the game last night with under 3 minutes to go and the Mavericks up by double digits?
You seriously think that D'Antoni is trying to show up the other team?
Get a freaking clue.
Seriously, the guy lost his starting job and was probably dying for playing time. He's more about "me" than about "team" so there can't really be anyone that thinks he was intentionally trying to be classless.
No, his teammates played good.
It was just like, one pass to Kobe and that's the whole offense. I think Phil was telling the Lakers to just keep giving it to Kobe and get the out of the way.![]()
D'Antoni usually has his starters in late in the game during blowouts because he's paranoid and doesn't trust his bench. It's not an intentional move to stick it to the other team.
Smush's dunk was much different.
Wont happen so I am not concerned about it.
As much as Smush was. It was stupid because it could be used as a motivational tool and backfire on his team. The only thing stupider was fouling him. Damn, some of you guys are homers.
there's this book out called 7 Seconds Or Less, you may wanna read that before thinking that D'Antoni just overflows with class and sportsmanship.
I agree with both you and Xylus about Marion. What was up with his lack of passion tonight. Ten and four is horrendous stats for anyone, especially him. He wasn't any good on defense either. If he would have gave effort tonight we might have won the game. We need his rebounds and hustle.
Like I care about your self-imposed, fan ethics bullcrap?
Since when do I have to adhere to some unwritten code about not whining?
I'm merely calling a spade a spade.
And I'm sure Avery Johnson is an angel behind closed doors.
I hope you're referring to Luke Walton or Vujacic here.
