Where is the Dallas defense that was so great all year?? Letting Warriors score 61 points in the first half is pathetic. I agree that Dirk looks drenched in sweat, they are making him work hard. I think the key to beating Dallas is attacking Dirk.
Oracle Arena is pretty sweet. I was fortunate enough to check out the first Spurs @ GS game this year. Too bad we lost but the fans are cool as . It gets freaking cold in Oaktown.
Hey Lefty...I reread your post and I apologize for my last post....they syntax you used lead me to believe that "I was not smart" but that the announcers were incorrectly identifying the 3 pt shooter as Dirk and not Stack....

They definitely have the Mavs number. It's so WEIRD, we easily can beat Golden State. Yet have reason to fear the Mavs.

Harrington and Pietrus are the only two Warriors playing scared. Nellie needs to limit their time.
Baron Davis, Matt Barnes and Jason Richardson look like they have their A games rolling.
99.99% chance Mavs win this game because the Warriors will start missing and the Mavs will get to the line, but gotta hope for a miracle.
That and don't plan on walking around near there unless your looking to get shot or buy some crack.

yeah it's always cold in the bay area, during the evenings.
Spurs have a big that can score inside and control tempo. Mavs don't.
Mavs look rough, though. Shades of game one with the poor shooting, questionable decisions and allowing GS to force turnovers.
Monta is playing crappy. He needs to ge it together.
Mavs can't handle the speed or athleticism.
This is going to be an amazing 2nd half. This 3rd qtr may define the Mavs whole season.

yeah, the whole matchup thing makes me wonder sometimes. Like if Dallas possibly (they'll adjust or find a way-IMO ) gets beat. And that's a big if--
about the whole "Best Team wins every time." idea. But i think Mavs got screwed over just like the Spurs did against the Kings last year. The seedings AGAIN are kind of misleading since the Warriors started surging at the end after they overcame injury.
I wouldnt say fear. We still have the overall psychological advantage. Remember...we can go the distance...they havent yet!

Have the Warriors ever heard of a pumpfake? There's really no shot blocker in the game for the Mavs. Fake a three and drive hard to the rim. Mix it up a little bit. They're always so eager to take the three.
