Although where I'll agree the glass will be a battle the Spurs aren't monsters on the boards,..check the stats and matchups.

See this series is being touted as all defense but no way does that realistically explain the presence of LeBron James being the offensive juggernaut of the Cavaliers,..he could very well drop 50 on the Spurs not from poor defense but just his raw ability.

oKAY....So LeBron gets 50 pts, the Spurs hold the others to 30-35 pts...that is a total of 85 pts. You underestimate the Spurs' offense...we average 97.9 in this year's playoffs. Hmmm...Spurs 97 Cavs 85? Sounds good to me.

Also note that the Spur greatest feat this post season has been besting the interior thin Sun's. Which was a series dictated more by the ref's who wasn't allowed to play,..it influenced the outcome of the series beyond a shadow of a doubt.

It was dictated by Amare and Diaw.....who didn't know how to act.....plus we did beat them in a game 6 elimination game, they should have stepped up but low and behold they didn't. That Suns' team had a heck of a lot more offense than the Cavs...even without Amare and Diaw.


The Cavs beat a crippled Wizards team, and got lucky with how coach Brown managed games against the Pistons in regards to time-outs. He won't be lucky this time.

I am not saying we will game 1....we will win the series in 6 though.

Beating Utah was no feat the Sun's series was the proverbial killer diller. Little Steve Nash was running roughshod on the Spurs and LeBron is a larger attacker.

Fan to fan Cheryl the beating the Spurs delivered to Steve Nash and the " Stern factor " of influencing the series was so damning.

That not only gave the Spurs that series but the way the punishment was handed out was nothing less than unbelievable.

The players of all teams pack the arenas and a insignificant dwarf like David Stern gave the playoffs a bigger black eye than Robert Horry physically assaulting Steve Nash,..on premise of both the act and punishment were absolutely criminal.

I'm a Cavaliers fan but I love and respect the game more than any one team or player. Which is to say even had that been a Cavalier doing the things the Spurs were doing. I'd not try to turn a blind eye and be acceptant that they got away with it.

I'm in no way a Sun's fan nor Spurs hater but fact is they were robbed. Which I certainly hope the series don't get into THAT kind of donny brook affair. Nor do I wish to see the " Stern dwarf " decide this series either.

If it's played clean with no such re-emergence of outside influence. I feel the Cavaliers takes the Spurs on sheer athleticism and the shoulders of one Mr. LeBron James.

Every team in the playoff field got they because they earned the right. Granted it was unfortunate that the Wizards were without agent Zero or Caron Butler. But the Cavaliers had nothing to do with them being injured and they took the court as opponents just the same,..it was a sweep.

Then there was the Nets that were without their center. But again the Cavaliers can't be held as a fault for that either,..almost another sweep.

Last there was a 100% healthy Detroit Piston team that was supposed to end the Cavaliers run,..they got dismantled in 6.

Now and last but not least there stands your beloved Spurs. For which I say the only thing that can stop the LeBron James led Cavaliers from making them relatively quick business off the finish.

Is if Mike Brown tries to put his signature on the games and or style of play. That wouldn't allow the Cavaliers to attack or the Spurs want to revisit donny brook and rely upon the " Stern dwarf " to intervene,..Popovich is a good coach and the Spurs are a wonderful team but you can't coach what LeBron has a natural gift for doing on the floor.

Your castoff's of Brown and Ferry are being absolutely carried by LeBron. They've given away talent and got the cap so screwed up LeBron has to win right NOW and he knows it.

Next season shapes up as a humbling experience of paying for what the bozo's did the past two season's. This is a 85% Cavalier tam that they inherited and squandered 30 million dollars in cap money and recouped NO draft picks for giving away youthful talent.

So this is where the Spurs HAS to get beat or LeBron will have to do even more than he's doing now to get a shot at it next season,..that's the dynamics of what makes this effort so important.
