Mavs are just not that good with or without Dirk....team is too old and slow...can't stop atheletic players. Best we can hope for is the 8th seed and first round exit....oh well such is basketball

The Rockets would be a serious threat for the championship with Yao Ming. I think that team is probably better than the Lakers, Mavericks, Suns, and the Pistons.

Wait till next year when we get a healthy Steve Francis back. I read in a report that his lateral patellar tendon was 70 percent ruptured and he was still trying to play on it for three years.

I think the reason the Rockets haven't skipped a beat since Yao went down is because Mutombo is still a pretty ing good defensive center. Having a strong defensive presence in the paint, even if he's offensively limited, is huge for the Rockets.

I'm kind of on the fence about this game...while statistically, it's better for the Spurs if the Mavs win, I ing hate the Mavs, so I can live with the Rockets winning #17...

The Rockets are playing some beautiful basketball. Their offensive execution is so fun to watch out there. I actually think they are more fluid without Yao.
