LA isn't that bad. I wouldn't want to live in Orange County or some bull place like that. I'd rather live in the City of LA.
^^See what I mean? This thread has somehow degenerated into an LA sucks thread. Admit, you all just love to hate on LA and the Lakers.

I call bull on you.
Nobody, not even a Laker fan, is as stupid as you are. Starting threads and then ing about the responses is one thing, but bad mouthing Detroit and then wondering why it turns into an LA sucks thread? You just overplayed it. It was fun while it lasted. How you had the patience to stick with over two thousand posts of such completely ignorant drivel before being found out is admirable.
Right after fisher gets away with cheating the warriors they lose at home to charlotte and memphis. Fisher is hurt now too, i guess thats just karma.
What'd Fisher do against the Warriors? I missed it.
Thats wy the lakers will never win another championship with kobe, no team at all.
I will never get it. Why is so important to make 53 points if your team lose?![]()

We're the defending champions. There's nothing 'supposed' about our championship.
No. Your team sucks. They lost at home to the Grizzlies. Now deal with it.
its the same BS i hear when kidd pulls a triple double in a team losing effort, i dunno whats the big deal though with stat padders in general on a losing team
Lakers up 2, four seconds on the clock, inbounds play by Golden State, and Fisher pulls Monte Ellis down on top of him to make it look like a charge, same stuff he did at Utah against luther head, and several other times in his career.

Lakers Lose and Hornets Lose! If only Pheonix had lost it would have been a great night...![]()
I've never been a fan of Kobe ball, but if you think Kobe not passing to his teammates was the reason the Lakers lost you are a ing idiot. His teammates shot 28% from the field and were jacking up ill-advised 3's left, right, and center. If the whole team is going to chuck up stupid perimeter shots I'd rather Kobe shoot all of them. It wouldn't make any difference on the outcome of the game.
The Lakers without a post presence are the same kind of team they were the last 3 losing seasons. Those teams lost games like this to MEM and CHA for the exact same reasons we lost tonight. The Lakers made the jump to an elite team this year primarily because of the emergence of a post presence in Bynum and Gasol. Lakers were #1 with Bynum and climbed back to the #1 spot again with Gasol.
When most teams lose their 2nd and 3rd best players they tend to struggle. Funny how every other team in the league gets slack for this, but when it's the Lakers it's all Kobe's fault. Please take of the hater glasses for one ing second idiots.
As I said in a previous post, I agree with you. Kobe should shoot every shot for the Lakers. In every game. From now on. Since his team-mates aren't as good as him, why should they ever take a shot?
Kobe is damned if he does and damned if he doesn't.
You're just an ignorant hater and even your own Spurs fans have called you out.
When a team loses their second best player and suddenly starts to suck, it just means that the superstar on the team isn't really an MVP candidate.
I don't think Kobe plans on the Lakers to lose when he scores 50+ points.
to the no. I have a lot of family in LA (tons) and I hate going to Irvine, etc., because it is so damn sterile. Give me LA anyday.
Second best player and arguably third most important player, kind of like the Spurs started to suck when both Parker and Duncan went down for a couple game. Plus those two players are the main two guys in the front court for interior scoring.
I actually think Kobe needs to score 50+ points at times like last night with Gasol still out, Bynum still out, Odom playing sick, and Fischer being injured.
It's kind of like how Ginobili literally carried the Spurs entire offense during that stretch after the All Star break where Parker was out. If your teammates aren't scoring or aren't healthy and you know you gotta put points on the board, you do what you gotta do. Sure Kobe could definitely pass more, but the rest of the team was shooting pretty poorly. If Kobe hadn't scored 53, who knows how much they would have lost by to the Grizz
Jamstone you're not going to convince the legions of Kobe and Laker haters on this forum that the Lakers being severely undermanned was the main reason for the loss. In their minds the Lakers lost because Kobe is a ballhog and doesn't know how to pass to his teammates. It's really sad that people can be this ignorant about basketball.
Spurs fans should know more than anyone else how hard it is to win in this league when your 2nd and 3rd best players go down and you are forced to play undermanned for an extended period of time. They are lucky their injuries happened early in the season when the stakes weren't as high.
Funny how the Lakers are caving in while the Rockets lost Yao Ming and continue to roll on.....
Does that mean Tmac is a better player than Kobe?
Nope, but it does mean that Tmac makes his teamates more effective than Kobe does.

The Lakers are Burnt out and hurting right now. They need rest and players to come back from injuries. What they've been able to accomplish thus far with so many injuries to key players is commendable, but unfortunately it couldn't last forever. End of Story! Next..
You guys have been watching too much tv. As a former resident of LA I speak from experience. La is a big city, there are good areas and there are bad areas. Just like any other big city. Orange county is no different, good areas, bad areas. There are areas in LA that even I wouldn't go to but it doesn't make it a bad city because of that. If you want trouble, you can find it easy in LA. If you don't want trouble you can avoid it. It's all about respect. If you show respect to everybody no matter who they are, they will show you respect in return. San Diego (although I think Monterey is just as beautiful) which is the most beautiful city in california has its bad areas as well. Don't believe the Hype!
What's happening to the Lakers right now is no different than what happened to the Spurs when Duncan, Parker, and Ginobli went out and they started playing .500 ball.
Not the same. Rockets lost Yao, then Carl Landry.
Lakers had already lost their inside presence in Andrew Bynum, lost Pau to injury, Odom was playing sick, and Fisher has a torn tendon in his foot. Before Odom and Fisher got hurt or sick, the Lakers stayed afloat. If four of the top five players are injured or sick, then it makes it monumentally more difficult to win games even against bad teams. The Rockets situation once Yao got hurt is not the same as the Lakers right now in their last couple losses.
T Mac isn't even close to the same league as Kobe.
T Mac is a second tier star
