there was an investigation for shireen abu akleh too, but no criminal referrals. A lot of international press agencies made investigations of their own that directly contradict the official narrative.
whataboutism is egregious when comparing unlike things to equivocate, i compared a church attack categorized as terror with a church attack categorized as terror, and a knife attack on a kosher market categorized as terror with palestinians getting killed by settlers categorized as terror, and i didnt do it to validate the actions, i did it to highlight that he only cares about one kind of terror. logically speaking I stand by what i said, though i recognize he may be equally concerned by but ignorant to the cases i mentioned, i dont think thats the case, i think he has a team and on the contrary, is desperate to equate some idiot with a knife attacking a market with soldiers trained and instructed to abuse their power. but hey, no video, no criminal referrals, that must mean it doesnt happen. id mention a notable parallel at home but ill be called out for whataboutism again.
Israel currently has a far right govt that shares a lot of the MAGA rhetoric, im hardly the first person to make that comparison.. and that govt has a huge role in settler violence, impunity for right wing terrorists, as well as responsibility for Oct 7 and the genocidal response to it.
