[Spurs 4 The Win]

I´d agree with that over other game, but not this one, the clippers also missed open looks, failed to convert on plays after getting 2 or 3 offensive rebounds (twice).
This time the failing was even, and the spurs won.

parker sat alone in the locker room. he was in tears.

he had just watched his team win the game without him.

he had just gotten the news from the docs about his achilles injury. he may not be able to play the next game, and that hurt him.

he saw his team congratulate each other, but he felt like he had no part in it.

he wanted to congratulate them so bad but, he knew that his days with the spurs were numbered. soon patty mills would take over, and eventually he would be forced out.

but he knew that things would be better that way.

he laid his head in his hands and cried.

The Spurs choked that game, not LAC. Spurs had the bigger leads. If it wasn't for the bad FT shooting again (outside of Mills 6-6 at the end), all the missed wide open 3's and layups and some terrible defensive lapses, this game would have been out of hand.

Pop botched the 4th quarter completely & the Spurs still had a 10 point lead with 8 minutes left despite getting 1 point from Parker. Spurs choked the lead, not the other way around.

Agreed, and Pop is going to have to review his with Danny, tbh... he needs to be out there defending.

I mean, despite Beli's awful 3PT shooting, he made some timely buckets and played with great energy. But you have to play Danny for his defense. It's no wonder when Pop yanked Danny and had Parker/Beli that the lead got cut. Plus, Danny is so damn important, you need him to have confidence. I belive Danny is one of the most mentally tough players on the team, but damn.

Let's see if coming home gets him going.

TP playing better overall, but not producing points at all. With TP/Tiago not really being super sharp on offense like normal, I am concerned that Clips bench is keeping up with Spurs bench. Normally our SL is way ahead on +/-, but if Clips bench is going to out produce Spurs, that spells trouble.

Not sure how to feel about the 2nd half. For the first time i'm worried. Spurs offense got much better than game one, but still missing FT and 3PT. Shots should fall. But the defense is pretty bad, CP/Blake destroying SA and CLIP bench doing well compared to Spurs. It's a toss up unless the Spurs make some damn shots and tighten up the boneheaded mistakes.

God - we saw the writing on the wall in game 1 and the first half. It was so un-Spurs like to not put teams away and make the mistakes they were making. Offense was getting really good looks - so much better than Game one but the Spurs almost killed themselves.

Well me. I went to bed at the start overtime I was so tired and actually the hack a Jordan killed the game for me. I was so mad and bored watching that I really didn't care anymore. I thought the spurs would lose because of it. Just play defense! It killed the o and the flow.

Anyhow, awesome that they pulled it out and still have yet to play good basketball. Maybe they can get it going and not have to resort to that crap.
