Winner of the 2015 Sundance Grand Jury Prize and the Audience Award, ME AND EARL AND THE DYING GIRL is the story of Greg Gaines (Thomas Mann), an awkward high school senior whose mom forces him to spend time with Rachel - a girl in his class (Olivia Cooke) with whom he hasn't spoken to since kindergarten - who was just diagnosed with cancer. (C) Fox Searchlight
just watched bourne iden y for the first time (i know... pretty long overdue). honestly i dont get the hoopla, wansn't anything special
Terminator: Genisys.
8/10 but I got utterly confused by all the time travel and the shifting of plots from the previous installments. Better than Jurassic World though.
Terminator Genisys 5/10.
Good rating from me though, I'm just a tough critic. Although the time travel aspect of it was extremely muddled and confusing -- seriously, I don't think even the director knew what he was doing. You can't just have a million different time lines folded into one and almost nothing changes and yet some things change and you're just like... what?
Same here. I liked it better than Jurassic World for sure but the ever changing timelines and time travel made for an extremely confusing mess in a number of ways. Like JW, it too was a cash in on the franchise's name but with a more compelling story, even if it was paradoxical and confusing to follow.
Got around to Nightcrawler: 7/10. Jake G is great, but the whole thing felt like a pilot for a Netflix series.
Maybe because I saw it on Netflix....
whiplash 9/10
he dumped that chick like a boss![]()
20 years old but worthy for Jane March's encore film appearance --- 1994's "Color of Night" with Bruce Willis. The movie is junk, but, March is just drop dead gorgeous,,,and completely nude. nude-nude. My God. She's so beautiful she makes your heart actually ache.

Remake of "True Grit" with Jeff Bridges playing John Wayne's "U.S. Marshall Cogburn" --- As a Wayne die hard I immediately dismissed this film upon release. Wouldn't watch it, wouldn't permit the wife to speak of it, nor would I read about it. A couple years ago it finally made it to television and I stopped one night as I was cruising thru the channels and home alone. Wasn't bad, though I picked it apart, talking to myself. I've flirted with it since. Today it was on again so I DVR'ed it. It's improved, aged well. God forgive me, but, it's got more clarity than the original issue, less bluster, more definition. The Texas Ranger played by what's his face is impressive, much better than Glen Campbell. The rancor twixt Cogburn & LeBeuf is comical in the original. Here, it is terse and near violent. It could have been shortened by 20 minutes but I still recommend it.
Did you like the 3:10 to Yuma remake?
Hard to watch Bale getting his sh!t pushed in after seeing him as Batman.
Ex Machina, liked it a lot..accurate portrayal of women, these hoes ain't loyal..
No. Now that was truly trash. That's a Western in name only.
It was good. The characters were all well done and I loved the proper English used in a witty way by the 3 main characters.
Max 2015
A huge disappointment…I was expecting a modern day version of O’l Yeller…The film is just a story about creepy white people dealing illegal arms…It does have a cool dog….![]()
Horrible Bosses 2
meh/10
Suspiria (1977) - 8/10
Watched Ted 2 last night. Thanks Kickasstorrents.
But no, not really thanks, because it ing sucked. The first one was bad. This one was just dreadful. Seriously one of the worst movies I've ever seen. It wasn't only unfunny, it was disgusting. I was eating popcorn and I almost threw it all up all over my bed. Ruined my ing appe e.
Stay far, far away from this movie. And Seth Macfarlane, listen bro, I loved Family Guy and you're a genius, but please, for the love of GOD, stop making these Ted movies. Because I'm convinced that if a 3rd one is made there will be a global apocalypse the next day.
Watched one from '13 "A Single Shot" last nite on the cable with Sam Rockwell playing the lead as a des ute, near divorced father who poaches the woods near his dilapidated trailer. He mistakenly shoots a young woman for a deer. She dies in his arms. He tracks her trail to a deserted area and a large garbage container where he comes across her hideout (from her boyfriend/a hardened criminal, & daddy-O, I means hardened) & the boodle, a big er. His first mistake is taking some of the $100 bills into the small town and retaining a lawyer (William H. Macy) to delay his divorce proceeding. It will not be his last mistake.
It's a complex tale as one can imagine, with quite a few holes in the plot and some startling violence all along the line. The squalor and near poverty of the farming town & community & it's inhabitants is daunting for two hours.
Is it worth the 2 hours to get thru it? I wouldn't do it again.
did you actually think it was going to be decent, though?
("Genisys" or any form thereof) is always a warning to stay away.
Antman : 10/10 tbh
