one of my profesors got it done when it was still in its infancy and she says her vision hasnt degraded a single bit.

i reckon the quality of the doctor has a lot to do with that. i know my uncle got it done 4 years ago too and he said it was the best thing he's ever done.

I'm sure there are a lot of benefits to it, but I'm just skeptical of a surgery that still so (relatively) new.

Then again, I love my nerdy glasses, so it's not something that I've researched all that much.

the thing i cant stand about it is the fact that youre awake when they do the procedure... you have to flippin watch them shave a layer off your eyeball... that'd freak me out.

It's definitely worth it.
