I don't see how that pressures the Dubs. Durant will almost certainly decide before the 7th...
Forgot the clock doesn't start until the moratorium is over.

Currently, the Spurs have enough cap space to sign someone in the Austin Rivers range

Golden State would be re ed to match regardless of KD's decision
GSW will definitely match if KD doesn't go to GSW.

Spurs should've bought an early 2nd round pick. It's worth the gamble.

uhhhggggg I forgot about that yuck. Dwight has a reputation for getting coaches fired.
    Good luck Bud!
I am not a Dwight fan by any means, but I think the Hawks made a bold and intriguing move. Horford was no great rim protector. Plus, Dwight has never played in a "democratic" system like Pop/Bud espouse. This move could surprise some naysayers. Plus, it did save cap space.

If this means Gasol's market value is a multi-year deal at $15m+, him too tbh.

Yup, that's my only gripe with the offseason so far tbh. Spurs absolutely should have tried to acquire a pick in the 30s.

Crofl @ the Rockets trying to become the Pelicans, a team that's been worse than them the last 3 years

Spurs are going to sign a mix of ten D Leaguers and international players to minimum contracts
    That doesn't excite you?

Rockets added Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon, lost Dwight, and made D'Antoni their coach. They're really doubling down on the whole "all offense, no defense" strategy huh?

That's where I expected to go after the Knicks/Grizz splurged on Lee/Parsons.

In order to accommodate that contract, the Blazers (who reportedly pursued him aggressively) would have to renounce the rights to a piece or two that I would be happy to have instead of Pau.
