I was going for Germany after USA was out since I am mostly German, but oh well.
Not a good reason...more Americans can trace their ancestry back to Germany than any other Nation, we are German. Fact is our boys can't even have their flag on the bus over there...the same flag that held off the Soviet Union from them for 50 years while they became one of the wealthiest nations in the world...

THAT WAS A "THRILLER IN DORTMUDNILLA" a hevywight fight between ItALI and JOErmany, but this time they showed up in the fifteenth round and ItALI knocked JOErmany out. Devastating loss to the home team.
I had that feeling that Italy will win (damn - I trusted my brain not heart on vbookie).
Great tactic by Italy, and fantastic defense. Just wanted to watch that game.

the Italians. they are the primmadonnas of world futbol. Lucky as , always on the refs good side and flop more than Ginobili. (they do have mad skills though and was happy they beat the boring germans)
Even if France passes, they have 6 players w/yellow cards which means at least 2 or their starters will be suspended come finals. I will root first for Portugal, then if necessary, for France.
