The problems with inner city public education are the teacher unions and a major lack of parental involvement and responsibility. I don't see how either can be fixed.
Vouchers won't help that much if the Parents don't give a darn, same with Charter Schools, great concept, but you still can't force the parents to care.

Obama played this debate as if the election is in the bag, but its that kind of hubris that can spark a last second rally by potential McCain supporters. This election is the farthest from ordinary, and Obama's playing possum strategy is a dangerous one, IMO.

In fact, he's interrupting Obama AND the moderator to talk as much as possible. And yet, many people in this thread think Obama is doing fine in this debate. Isn't that interesting?
He's doing it in a less abstract and a more concrete way this time. Saying Obama worked with a terrorist is just the type of bull that can sway idiot undecided voters. Just the type of that will turn off senile retired semi-undecided jews in Florida.

The public education system isn't ever going to be cleaned up until people stop thinking of it as a system that isn't ever going to be cleaned up.
How very true. Even Hannity however supports him as the lesser of two evils. Every conservative talk radio host I heard is that way.
