...as far as what the bookstore has, it is VERY limited. as of last month, they were sold out of chairs (the amount they ordered was a joke, btw). they also do not have any tents or flags either. just a few months ago they started selling hats with the new logo when they were readily available at walmart and academy.

we're working with the bookstore and distributors to get more of these items available. it's ridiculous they do not even carry flags, we had ours custom made. as far as the tents with the new logo, we found a distributor to make them but a minimum order was required so we're working with the athletic department staff to make this stuff available to everyone.

i'll personally keep EVERYONE on spurstalk updated as more products become available, this i promise

business-wise, my bad for bringing it up yesterday

as far as my tailgating proficiency, we are pro's. we do this everywhere. (ut, a&m, cowboys, alamobowl/hs games @ alamodome, nascar, etc). what i lack in logo chairs for all of my teams, i make up with a never ending supply of food & beverages, multiple flat screens with satellite service & video games, and the great company. (btw, u haven't lived till u've had our fajitas that get marinated for a week.) come on out it u want.

as far as i know, nothing happened from the incident expect the college forum went down a few days while kori cleaned it up and added 2 sticky threads. no one was banned because of that...i agree it wasn't cool what went down, but it wasn't that big of a deal (according to the moderators)

no one was complaining about the 2 sticky threads at the top of the page. everyone was complaining why MORE threads were being creating in addition to those threads. some non observers have said they had no problem with the number of threads. kori herself said it that she listened to other posters who had been here longer...i guess that's fine, but they'll still be a game thread especially as the madness starts

Why not just respect the fact that Kori wanted all UTSA to remain in those two threads? It is her forum and you should feel lucky to even have that. Not all universities have sticky threads. A supporters only thread I might add because you and your other fans can't handle a little smack.

Why not just follow your boys to utsasource.com and start something up there instead of acting a fool here and making more people hate the university you love?

she never said that to anyone, publicly or privately. sticky threads are just that. smack is smack and i really don't care (although, i agree with u some people on both sides did over react). but importance is a matter of presepective. someone started an a&mcc thread last week. i'm down with that, they're having a good season and the southland conference is ultra compe ive this season. for UTSA, the next 2 games are against the 2 top teams in the SLC (a&mcc & sam hous st). PLUS u have local recruits signing with big east teams while UTSA has a team filled with jucos...and we're suppose to talk about this in one thread because rrinkorea wants that leach contract story on the front page. run the smack, i don't care, i'm here to talk sports.

thank you for the life lesson, but if all youu have in life is responding to and ripping people who disagree with you not on topics of discussion but the importance of those topics, then you have a very sad life.

this is a sports forum and i'm a sports fan, part of being that repping u'r team. i understand the "national" attention of a leach story (although i'll argue it's importance) but i was just using that as an example on how DEAD the college sports forum is and was. there is absolutely almost no college basketball talk here. start a tamucc thread or a jmu thread...aggie fan should be about it after last night, but just cause they don't do it, don't ask me not to. run smack, do whatever, disagree, or agree: that's what a forum is all about.

no one is telling u not to hate or troll or do whatever else happens in every single thread on this site...just quit complaining about the number of threads. if the moderator chooses to close them (like she does with trade parker, acquire wallace/carter threads), then let her.
