Yep. Part of the maturation and GREAT chemistry this team has. Now the biggest growth starts Monday, June 1. We all know what happens during that time. Now the road gets a bit tougher. We play the Yankees for the next three. Would love to take at least 2 of 3 but wouldn't complain with a sweep..
But in the next three weeks, we have the Red Sox, Yankees @ New York, and the Dodgers.
Time to Welcome the Yankees to the Ballpark. I will be there tomorrow, heard he crowd could be close to 50,000
Can't wait to hear teh boo's for A-rod and Tex
yeah, the place is gonna be packed for this series. It always is when the Yanks come to town. I won't be there tomorrow, but I hope to make one of the other two games. It's time to show them what we're made of!
Awesome trip.
Had a blast.
The Rangers are some cool guys too, Marlon Byrd is hilarious, and I might have a new favorite athlete in Josh Hamilton.
After reading his book, and seeing his interactions with the kids at the park, it literally brought a tear to my eye.
Josh Hamilton's story is old hat, but IMO a great one, and the way he interacts with kids should be shown even more.
Josh Hamilton is baseball's new hope and should be treated as such.
NYY 11, Texas 1. Rangers still can't figure out how to beat the Yankees.![]()
What a ty game to be at today
Phil Hughes loves pitching in arlington...his debut was as 6 IP with no hits
these type of games happen to every team the ranges will still take 2 out 3
this team has proven it can bounce back
Stellar effort today.
The bats let down the pitching today.
Multiple times they had guys in scoring position with 1 or no outs and didn't bring em in.
The bats have to bring it tommarow.
The Yankees will always own the Rangers. It's sad but true.
Yankees-Rangers is like Rangers-Astros, except the opposite.
the rangers went 4-3 against the yanks last year
leading 2-0 in the 2nd. Time to brush off last game and bounce back thats what i like to see
god the ranger crowd is always so subdued.....WAKE THE F UP
lol, Joba's favorite food is steak
Its 11PM for s sake.
Get a clue.
I suggest staying at home then. No point in going to a sporting event.
Good job of bouncing back after yesterday's forgettable game. Holland goes tomorrow. Let's take 2 of 3!
I stayed up past my bedtime to watch the game. Totally worth it, but man I felt it this morning when I woke up. 2/3 would be nice, I read that Holland is going to add a curveball today when he pitches, but hasn't thrown it since college. Should be interesting.
This could also be Holland's last start of the season tonight as Padilla is expected to return soon.
The only problem i have with Holland working out of the pen is that if he becomes a starter once again later in the season, he wont be able to pitch long into games bc his pitch count will be limited.
Hope Holland can go a bit farther in this game than he did against Houston.
However the Yankees are 50 times the team Houston is so hopefully Holland can give a solid 6.
IP H R ER BB K HR SEASON ERA
Holland 5 10 6 5 2 5 2 5.70
so maybe the kid needs more time
