Fatality
Scola 19 and 8 and also helped limit Aldridge to 7 and 3. Amazing performance, and well it just goes to show you how much toughness matters.
Fatality
Yao only played 24 min. That's great with Deke and Yao splitting minutes. It's what Adleman should have been doing all along.
If the Blazers don't win the next game it's going to be a sweep.
I hope Deke splits minutes with Yao the rest of the playoffs. It'll be like Shaq and Zo. That's what we need.
i hope this doesn't end up like 04-05 vs dallas where we won at their palce
I like all the people asking where the Blazer fans are....obviously at the game.
or parked in their garages with the car running
Yeah, it is do or die now. So much pressure on this young Blazer team.
Damn, the rox took they ass out back to the woodshedThen dragged they ass to the front and curbstomped them

Is that true? Nice stat.
blowouts this big usually happen in game 7's, not game 1's.
The next 3 days are going to be unbearably long for the trailblazers.
Holy crap that was a beatdown of epic proportions!
Got damn, i knew the Rockets were gonna steal a game in Portland, but i didn't think they were gonna beat the breaks off their asses like they did tonight. The Blazers and their fans got a lil bit too y, for a team that hasn't been in the Playoffs since '03 and hasn't won anything significant since 1977. These ers had the audacity to throw a parade.................for their team making the playoffs............JUST MAKING THE POSTSEASON.
Who the does that, seriously.
They needed the Rockets to bring their asses back to earth and humble them a bit. They're a good team, but as they now see, experience matters. Rockets have plenty of it, while the Blazers dont. They looked scared less out there minus Roy and Oden.
It was gonna be either rockets in 6 if they take 1 of the first 2 games in Portland or Blazers in 7, thats how i saw this match up going, but if the Rox get game 2, Break out them Brooms. Blazers arent winning in Houston.
So for a young team like the Blazers, confidence wise...is it better if you lose game 1 via blowout or if it is a real close loss?
I would imagine a close loss would be better. You'd come back hungry and confident that if you just do your job that you will win next time. If you lose in a blowout fashion, you'd have to constantly fight off that "Here we go again" feeling when the going gets tough.
I kind of think the houston rockets should lose Game 2, it won't be a good thing to push the blazers too hard. As you said the Blazers are a young team, I think the only reason they sucked ass last night was just their lack of confidence and experience. They just felt too nerverous, the logo on the floor reminds those young guys at any time that they're playing in the post season which they had never tasted for decade long until this season. If the rockets pushed them to 2-0 or even 3-0, then the young blazers would just throw their tension into the pacific ocean and fight back against the Rockets with no burden on their minds. Just like a beast released from the cage, no one can immagine what miracles that young team can achieve. maybe they would even turn the series around and wipe out the rockets with 4-3. I think the rockets had better just show some respect to their opponent and make them accept being wiped out with 2-4 or 3-4.
